Bestiary 2
Submitted by _athanasia_ on Wed, 03/12/2008 - 11:13.Demons are ridiculously different. David is one of them. Better leave the damn things alone, I think I hate them all already.
Dryads are half-human half-plant beings. Probably unedible. They are apparently supposed to be hippies.
Vampires are dead and suck blood. Also, they can't stand the sun. Given they have to be bipedal blood bags, they must be edible.
Fairies are the demons equivalent from another dimension: they are absurdly varied. May or may not have insect wings, may or may not be edible, must give a shot.

Submitted by _athanasia_ on Sun, 02/03/2008 - 11:16.I arrived as planned! But I also discovered huge creatures. They look awfully like eels but they are bright green and have larger frills. Holy crap, they speak English. Also, they seem to eat each other and nothing else.
The creatures call themselves "demons". The individual I met was about 10 meters long. His name is David. He's okay. He seems to know my people. If he doesn't get eaten in an early future (I can't believe there are other demons larger than him), it's very likely I see him again.
Flashback: 6 months before arrival
Submitted by _athanasia_ on Sun, 02/03/2008 - 11:15.It was their Octopus's Garden. They truly were the only sentient beings in their hideaway. Their own place. Only clicks and low sounds ever disturbed their home, those were their own. Everything was theirs. Like angels in the biblical heavens, they had no desire, no guilt, and no lust. Days of frolicking among moss-like seaweeds, of hunting in the dark and deep water, of childishly cruel tricks played to the resident octopi. A paradise.
