Thia was in her room, picking out where she wanted the flowers Maddie had made for her were going to go. She had to hang them upside down to dry them and all, but she had to admit, she'd been really touched by the gesture. It had been sweet, especially coming from a woman like Maddie, who spent most of her time being kind of pissy, in one form or another. So, the fact that she'd made her flowers too, along with Sophie's, that just made her all kinds of smiley.

When Dean hadn't come to bed earlier, Thia hadn't thought anything of it. She figured he was downstairs, maybe talking to Oz, or doing...whatever. So it wasn't cause for concern. She'd tried to lie down for a bit, but she never really slept well without Dean, and definitely not this early. So, she'd tossed and turned for a while, and then given up, getting up again. She'd tried to distract herself by doing some homework--Dean's homework, in reality, but her eyes kept straying towards the clock.

When Dean woke that morning, he felt surrounded. Not in a bad way, it was just something he hadn't quite expected. It was the pressure on his feet, in addition to the Thia draped over one side of him that was the new part - she was so small that generally his feet stayed free, and it took him a minute to realise that the pressure was BB, curled up asleep on the end of the bed.

At least, the kitten had been asleep until Dean moved, but the slightest movement from the teen and the little ball o fluff went from fast asleep to awake and pouncing in less than a moment. 'Hunt the feet' was always a fun game and BB seemed to have a lasting love of it. Dean just wasn't used to being woken up like this in the morning. Usually if BB slept with anyone, it was with Thia. Only last night, Thia slept with him - and was currently pinning down his left side, in actual fact. He didn't particularly want to disturb her, but even through the blankets, the kitten's little claws were sharp. He tried shucking him off with a flip of his foot, which only severed to give the kitten proof that Dean was joining in the game, which was just encouragement!

Dean had stayed at the house for several hours after Caleb had left, his migraine full and raging, leaving him curled up in a small ball on the bed in the attic, trying to press the world out with a pillow over his head. He'd been tempted to stay there all night, but he knew he couldn't - people would come looking for him if he did that, and if he had to deal with people, he'd prefer it was on his own terms. So, after a while, he'd made himself get up and go downstairs, rooting through one of the first aid kits that Sophie routinely had everywhere you could possibly want one and swallowing some painkillers. he'd waited a bit longer until they kicked in enough to just take the edge off, then started for home, driving slowly on the icy roads.

He got home without any incident more than some irate drivers honking him to tell him he was driving too slowly - which really didn't help his migraine by any stretch of the imagination - and he pulled up in front of the house, letting himself in the front door and shucking off his boots, before he headed straight upstairs. Oz had hearing, he'd have heard the car, and the door. He didn't need an 'I'm home' to know he was.

Dean had hardly slept all night. He never slept well here, but even taking that into account, he'd hardly slept all night. Not that Thia had really been sleeping any better - she'd been tossing and turning all night and he'd finally woken her just after dawn to tell her that he was going, that he'd be back.

He'd walked for a long while, trying to get his head straight about things. About everything that had happened last night - so much had happened last night. About Andy, about his entire life to this point, about people, about everything. And about the fact that he'd sat with his back against an oak tree just down from the railway bridge and watched a ghost under the bridge. Not that the ghost was doing anything, she was just.... there, dressed in clothing that looked half a century old, a school bag over her shoulder - she couldn't have been much older than him when she'd died.

Caleb was a little more aware of the time this time when he phoned Dean, sitting in his room staring out the window. He was propped on the sill of it, since it was right there above his bed in the first place, and he was just staring more or less sightlessly out, where things looked really normal. Or, the back yard did, anyways. His mind was on a lot of things, Nic being pretty damn prominent. But, he also just kind of missed Dean being around, and wanted to talk to the guy. Tell him about the magical adventures of running from werewolves he'd missed.

Dean pulled his phone from his pocket as it rang and checked the caller ID, before excusing himself from the room and heading into a quieter part of the house. That was the good thing about Andy's house - it was huge, there was always a quieter part. Somewhere where he could talk to Caleb about whatever he was calling for and not have to worry about being overheard. "Hey mate, what's up?" he asked, sitting down on the stairs, resting his elbows on his knees as he held the phone to his ear.

Dean missed driving. Coming away would have been so much easier if they'd been able to just get in the car and go, but no, he was too young to drive here. So once he'd convinced his parents that (a) they could go away and (b) they had enough cash to pay for staying away, they'd had to take a train to the place he'd picked out. He'd wanted to take her somewhere nice, somewhere interesting. Somewhere with castles and dead sheep, but where they'd ended up was less castle-y and more small-quaint-village-y. And a taxi ride from the train station, once Dean had decided that it was too far to walk.

They arrived at their destination that morning - the village of Eyam in Derbyshire, and settled into their room in the large stone-built cottage they were staying in before he suggested they went for a walk, aware that at some point they were going to have to start The Talk he'd promised they could have. but at least it was quieter here - the village was isolated and, at this time of year, there were hardly any tourists around. Today was a dry day, and once you were out of the village itself there was nothing for miles around but fields and hills. And sheep, so Thia could be happy about that.

Dean looked out of the kitchen window, craning his head up towards the sky a little and smiled. He pulled back and went in search of Thia. "So - the rain looks like it's tailing off - hopefully it'll stop in a while," he told her, looking relieved. It had been raining heavily all morning, since before dawn, and that had effectively ruined their plans for the day. But maybe, if it stopped this afternoon, they could rescue the rest of the day and go do something. In the meantime, they at least had the house to themselves - his parents were at work, Scott at school.

She looked over from where she'd been messing with the choker she'd been tying round her neck, and she smiled a bit. "You mean it may actually be habitable outside? How novel!" she said, giving a brighter, playful type smile at the end of her statement. She had been up for a while, though it had taken her a little bit to get out of bed. She was feeling a little tired, though less in the manner of lack of sleep, and more in the way of energy. Dean sustained her, but didn't really give her more than she needed, and there was a bit of a distinct lack of negative energy around. If they happened to go out, however, she could always stumble upon someplace that had it. That would be good. She didn't mention it to him, however. Wouldn't, unless she started getting really bad, and she wasn't near that yet.

After an incredibly full and exhausting day of touristy type things with Dean's family, Lullaby had been just tired enough to crawl into bed and completely crash out. She'd been tired anyways, after spending as much energy as she had trying to make sure Dean slept in. It had worked, but it left her drained for most of the day. Though holding Dean's hand for a lot of it helped, all he did was sustain her, he didn't put out enough energy to really recharge her back up a ton. Or, at least, not without prolonged exposure, which she was thinking sleeping had done. She was slightly better when he'd woken her up, when they decided that they were going to sneak out of the house before anyone else was awake, just so they could have a little bit of time together as opposed to being carted off for more group activities. So, they'd gone out. It was an overcast, rainy day, which was best for her, not having to deal with sunlight was a good idea. It was a little cool though, so she'd decided to wear his blue hoodie again. She was holding the umbrella for the two of them, as they walked down a path, going...wherever it was Dean was taking them.

Dean led them out from the footpath onto the road running through another housing estate, heading them towards what his mum had always referred to as 'pretend countryside'. There wasn't a whole lot of actual countryside around here, but there were areas of green where if you ignored the constant hum of the motorway, you could at least hope to suggest that you were alone. He'd just wanted to get them out of the house for a while. He was used to spending more time alone with her than they'd managed yesterday, and after everything the day before, he wanted some her-time.

Lullaby was of a similar mind, but then again, she generally was. She liked everyone else in the world just fine, but she started to get twitchy if she didn't get proper time alone with him. So this was nice, they didn't even have to be back at a set time, so she felt freer than before, when they'd had obligations to tend to after arriving. Or...after she woke up, anyways. She had things on her mind, but wasn't sure when she was going to actually start talking about them with him. Mostly because she wasn't sure she wanted to, even if she knew she should. And she would! But...yeah. That didn't mean she was chomping at the bit to get to it. "So where are we headed?" she asked.

The flight had been long, and Dean had got exactly no sleep - the general, albeit quiet, hubbub of humanity around him had been enough to keep him awake. Allowing for time differences, he landed back in Britain at largely the same point of the clock as Sophie had woken him up the day before. Losing five hours, he decided, was a mind-fuck as he zombied his way through passport control and customs and was near enough mugged by his father, who was the appointed parent to come collect his son from arrivals at sparrows fart of a dark morning.

He'd excused himself to his room as soon as he'd got home. Scott was still about and he wanted to talk to his parents without his brother listening in, so 'unpacking' had seemed a good way to go until the brat went off to school. That had, at least, been the plan until he'd hefted his case up to his room.

When: Around midday

Lullaby was finishing looking at her email, which of course didn't actually have much in it. Just emails from Andy, really, and she wasn't up for emailing him back. Mostly because he was doing what he usually did when he contacted her in any capacity--he was flirting shamelessly, being overly suggestive, and generally making her feel like she wanted to send him an email back with huge blinking letters that read: 'Andy. Please Back The Fuck Off. KThxBai'. So, she just kinda ignored them for now, looked over her homework for her classes, swiftly decided she didn't have the brain for it, and shut her laptop down. After that she moved Dean's computer chair over towards the window, and was sitting on it, partially curled up, eyes out on the treeline. The view from the other bedroom was better, but she didn't mind so much. Her mind was just gently drifting over everything. Like how doing her assignments seemed so...distant in light of what had happened.

And she was wondering how Dean was going to go back to school and his normal life after he'd killed someone. That was pretty heavy on her thoughts as she watched birds flitting between branches, and squirrels running up and down the trees. She had some music playing on Dean's computer, but only had it up loud enough that she could hear the bass. She didn't even know what it was, just whatever he happened to have on there. She just needed something that broke up the silence while she was milling over everything that had happened since they'd left for the Masquerade.

Dean had left Sophie downstairs in the living room as he headed back to his room, looking for Thia. He was quiet as he headed into the room and he walked over, stopping a few feet behind her for a moment as he realised that he'd been just about to simply walk up and put his arms around her. After the last few days when they'd needed each other for that support and comfort it seemed natural, but this wasn't the last few days, was it? They'd been healed, she was sitting up, he was walking around - sure, he was still tired, but that would pass in a few days, apparently. But didn't it put a different light on things? He started forward again, walking to the side of her and resting against the window ledge instead. "So, Sophie's going to see about getting me a flight back to England for a bit," he told her.

The first thing she knew about was owies. That woke her up really fast and she immediately tried to push herself up with a sharp cry. That was easier said than done as she felt incredibly heavy. Too heavy. Too heavy and too clumsy, way too uncoordinated for moving around. Plus there was the ow. There was a lot of ow going on. But it didn't take her that long to figure out what was going on, either. "Dean--" she started reaching out to grab his shoulder, trying to get her head to stop feeling like it was stuffed with cotton or anything else that wasn't brainmatter.

Dean couldn't sleep. Normally, that was because there was some annoying noise somewhere - someone playing music, or running their car engine or... something. Today he'd just woken up - thankfully now migraine-free, though he'd had a terrible night's sleep because of it - pre-dawn. He'd lain there in the dark for a while, then crawled out of bed. He'd headed downstairs without getting dressed and, shrugging on his jacket, headed outside to sit on the porch for a while, staring out at the darkness. The fog began to form as dawn broke, but he'd never minded fog - he quite liked it, in fact. It muffled sound, like a comforting blanket, even if the day was ass-cold. He'd have to go back inside eventually. Go upstairs, have a long warming shower, see Thia before he headed off to school. But, for now, he was just sitting quietly outside, the back door slightly ajar, in his own little tiny world with walls of fog.

Lullaby hadn't actually been to bed. She'd gone for a walk after she'd left Alexis' house, and just...thought for a long time. Of course, the thinking hadn't done her head any good. It had just spun her in more circles, and in the end, left her with just as much unsettling weirdness as previously. Though, she wasn't going to let it make her hide or anything. She in fact, decided that she was going to make Dean breakfast. If he wanted some. She put tea on, anyways, and then went up to knock on his door, but he wasn't there. Which had her looking for him. When she spotted him out the window on the porch, she relaxed. Breathing a sigh of relief, she paused, then went, got his tea, got herself some, and got a blanket to wrap around her shoulders. She padded out, trying to keep hold of both mugs and the blanket, and she went to sit just a little behind and to his left. "Good morning." she said. "I brought you tea if you want it." she told him, automatically bringing her arm up behind his shoulders so she could share her blanket. Even if he had his jacket on, it was cold. Though...the fog was really cool, she had to admit, and her eyes skated the treeline, liking how the first trees were barely visible, but the ones behind that were more indistinct, and it really wasn't that far where sight distance was obliterated.

It was a strange fact that, although Dean knew full well that Thia was mostly deaf, he still lowered his voice slightly if he was talking around her while she was sleeping. Which she was currently, laid out sprawled on his bed where she'd crashed earlier on. He'd covered her with a blanket and shifted her to place a pillow under her head before heading off to his computer. Now, a couple of hours later, he'd been talking to Andy online for a while.

He could see the guy on the webcam feed, just as Andy could see him. The guy, who was back in England, was sat at his desk in his bedroom, this time alone, though half the time when Dean called, he ended up talking to one or more of his old friends who tended to hang round Andy's place more often than not. Andy had been out, but it was gone midnight over there and he was home again, and it was a little obvious the guy had been drinking. Not loads, but the effects had made him even more garalous, if that were possible. He'd been making jokes all the time they'd been talking about the clearly sleeping girl on the bed immediately behind Dean, ones that Dean had been trying to field - and hope to god Thia didn't wake up to hear.

Lullaby knew Dean was on his way, she'd texted him earlier in the day to see if they could do something later, and he'd said he'd get there eventually. Lullaby's version of eventually was going to be slightly sooner, because she couldn't stand to be in the house for another second longer. Or on the property for that matter. So, she'd bundled up, because it was not a warm day out, really, and started walking. The dirt road was pretty long to begin with, and if she got to the end of it she'd just...stop and sit there to wait for him to drive up. It wasn't like there was going to be any other traffic on the road or anything. But she was exhausted feeling she was so tired from lack of sleep, and she just...wanted to be anyplace but that house. Absolutely anywhere. She'd perk up again when he got there...she always did, for more reasons than one. But for the moment, she was trudging up the road, hands buried in the front pocket of his hoodie that she kept swearing she was going to return to him. She had a scarf on too, and a hat, that had little bear-ears sewn onto it. She'd been bored. What she didn't need today was an umbrella...the sun hadn't shown up all day, and it hadn't rained either. It was one of those days where it was dreary, kinda dark, and generally unpleasant. That really hadn't helped out her whole stuck feeling and her twitchyness about wanting to get the hell out of that house for a while.

Dean turned down the road and had been surprised to see her walking - he knew that he was later than she could have expected had he been coming straight from school, but still. He'd had first aid immediately after school, and then he'd gone round to the old house to talk to Billy about a few things. Mostly, the state of her room. He'd had a few ideas about it that he wanted to talk to the other guy about. He'd also wanted a second opinion on the house and on Thia and he knew that Thia trusted Billy. Of his two tasks, the first had been accomplished - Billy was going to get Thia's room put back together again first and foremost, and then he was going to let Dean loose on it. He'd been on board with the teen's idea, thought it was a nice one. And agreed that nobody else needed to know - it'd be a nice surprise. As for the second, well, that had been rather less successful. It wasn't that Billy hadn't cared that Thia was uncomfortable, he just didn't have a whole lot to add there. Maddie was looking into it, as far as they could tell there was nothing threatening, or dangerous and nobody else except for Dean and Thia could feel anything wrong. It was just a mystery. Billy had, though, offered to go into Thia's dreams to see if he could get a better understanding of what was going on. That hadn't been anything Dean was was willing to ask him to do, but he hadn't turned it down either.

He slowed the car and pulled over next to her, wondering if she'd be able to manage the skewed door, or whether he'd be better to get out and open it for her.

She was relieved when the car pulled up and she made her way to it, eyeing the door with a wrinkled nose. She tried to get it open, really pulling hard on the handle, but it didn't quite work out for her. So she thunked her forehead down on the top of the vehicle. "I can't get iiinnnnn." she moaned, even if she didn't know if he'd hear her.

Dean swam up out of sleep slowly, cuddling in against Thia as he shifted, mumbling a little, incomprehensibly, as he did so. As he woke up more, however, coming to, his brain kicking into gear, he backed off, blinking his eyes open and rolling over, hoping that she'd decided to join him in sleep. That'd be good, since he'd obviously been snuggling whilst he slept. He did that every time, he knew, it was just that, generally, he woke up before she did and got out of there, covering for his behaviour.

Dean wasn't in luck. Lullaby was awake. She'd stayed awake the entire time. His mumbling got a little smile out of her, and as he moved away from her, she felt a rush of cool air that made her protest a little bit. She also snuggled up against his back and reached up to draw her fingers through his hair. "Sleep well?" she asked. She knew that he'd been out for ages. She didn't have a sense of time that was accurate in there, but she knew it has been hours. The pale bit of light that had been coming in from beneath the door had faded, even. She'd watched it go, though she'd done it not by watching the crack per se, but more by watching the outline of him slowly disappear. She was glad he'd gotten to sleep himself out. In her opinion, he'd needed it.
