I can't sleep. So I'm up writing, again. Why do I usually wait til this time of night/morning to write this shit? Maybe because I don't have anyone else to talk to around now. Unless I want to go find Ruby, which isn't happening.

We talked about dreams today in group. Some of these people are fucking nuts, that's clear. Okay? I know, I'm in the motherfucking psych ward, but still. Some of the shit out of these people's mouths...I know I'm fucked up, but not like they are. Or some of them. Not all of them. But seriously. I'm not that crazy. Not even close.

why do I drink? I keep saying I won't again and I do. every time.

at least I made it back to my room safely. that counts for something.

dad still hasn't called. I left another message. Maybe he's on a hunt? I just wish he'd call me back.

I'm going to pay Antique Girl back tomorrow and leave if dad hasn't called yet. I can hitch back to Maine, no problem.

I don't know what to do. I mean, like for really don't know what to do. For the first time in my life, I feel like I never knew anything. I don't even have a frame of reference here. There was all the elemental stuff, and I was still getting used to that. I'm STILL not used to it. And like, I'm still figuring that stuff out, then I talked to Isaac, and he starts talking like all sorts of other stuff is out there too. And that he was like, talking about me with Thom, and his mom, and like, there's this whole big thing going on with them and it's about me but I'm not part of it.

Dorian hadn't been this nervous about picking a girl up since dating in high school, and this wasn't even a date. This was taking Eury out for drinks and introducing her to Aiden. Eury, his closest female friend, and Aiden, his closest male friend. They were both far too eager to meet each other, considering how very little they knew about each other. Aiden had agreed to meet them at Babylon, while Dorian picked up Eury. Leaving the Impala out in front of the house, he made his way up the walk to ring the bell. Eury seemed like the sort of girl to be ready on time. Things were moving too fast or too smoothly for his liking. Maybe she would need to fix her makeup before going.

Eury did happen to be ready on time. In fact, she'd been ready for a good hour. She'd also taken the time to doll herself up, which she rarely ever did, and she continually berated herself for doing in the first place. Jesus, what was she, twelve? She felt about that. she'd tried to get her hair tied back as well as one could with dreadlocks that reached mid calf, and had managed, and she'd done a little makeup. Granted, the eye stuff didn't go over with her but she did it anyhow. She'd gotten herself into a skirt, which she also rarely did, but it showed off all of her tattoos, as well as the tank top with the see through overshirt along with. She'd opted for black tonight, because it brought out the color in her tattoos even more. The crowning bit was her mirrorshades, though. She actually did have a lot of different pairs, and this pair had cute little rhinestones set into the arms of the glasses, and she'd fixed a tiny black metal rose to the top corner where the arms met the lens frames. When there was the bell sounded, she had to look at herself again, curse herself for immediately thinking that it was a horrible plan and she should go change immediately, then she opened the door to look out into the stairwell. She smiled. "Hi." she said. God, stop being a teenager!

After finally getting some more sleep Dean had decided that he needed to get a feel for where he'd be living from now on. Oz had been right - Sophie hadn't minded giving him a lift into town at all and she'd dropped him off, saying that she'd pick him up at six and talking about getting him a cell phone. he'd cringed at that - not at the phone thing, but how Americanised his cousin had got over the past few years. It was just, well, weird. And something he guessed that he'd have to get used to.

He wandered around fairly aimlessly until he hit the lake. Which brought him up short. He'd read up on Marquette. he knew that it was on the shores of lake Superior. And he knew that Superior was gonna be big. But - there was big and then three was Big. This was ocean big. This was... something else. Enough so that it just made him stand and stare.

Hey Thom, it's okay, are you alright? I left a stuffed bee for Leija...I hope she likes it, I found it in the gift shop. So y'know. If she asks where it came from, it was me. I didn't want to wake her up and disturb her or anything. I hope everything's okay with you and everyone else.
