Who: Jocelyn and Maddie
Where: Maddie's Shop
When: Early afternoon
It had kept her up late the previous night but Jocelyn had put together what she needed to hopefully help Grayson out with his spirit visitor. She didn't tell him, or Doc for that matter, but something about the climate with the ghosts lately made her wonder if the standard defenses against them would even hold up. What if they were immune now that they are all visible? It wasn't worth getting caught up on. If the wards she put in place didn't work, they'd go about it a different route.

Who: Billy and Skye
Where: The Diner
When: Around lunch time
Skye was sitting at a table at the diner, nibbling on a grilled cheese sandwich. So far her salad was untouched, but she liked to save that for last, anyway. And her green tea was cooling in it's cup - she'd already burnt her tongue once on it, and was rather disinclined to do it again today.
Goodness gracious (great balls of fire)!

Dear diary,
Hi! I know its been a couple of days. Oh my goodness. I have met the MOST ADORABLE BOY EVER!!! I know I totally said that about Eric Matthews but Jamie has Eric beat hands down. This is the voice of experience speaking here. He has ruffly hair and pretty eyes and he smells like cookies and he has such a dreamy look on his face all the time. Squee! He totally just wants to be friends which may or may not have to do with guerrilla kissfare when we may or may not have gotten our wires crossed about actually being on a date.

She hadn't meant to start the fire. She really, really hadn't. It had been an accident. She hadn't meant to char the walls, or warp the doorframe, she hadn't meant to set off the sprinklers in the room. It was under control. It hadn't gone anywhere. But still. She hadn't meant it.
Same time, same place.

The majority of the night Jamie had laid on the couch, staring up at the ceiling, wondering about the events that'd just occurred.
Nothing, it was nothing, right? They were just going to be friends, yeah. Good times. Good friend times.
Burning Down the House
Submitted by chaos_spawned on Sun, 07/12/2009 - 15:19.
Who: Mathias and Caleb
Where: Outside the house they (used to) live in
When: The early hours
Caleb was just having an interesting life, now that he was in Marquette. There was really no other way to put it. It was interesting. Sure, there were a whole damn host of other words that could be added in for a more accurate description, but at the moment, he was going with 'interesting'. It was that or go the way of Dorian, who ran past again muttering something under his breath about...god knew what. Caleb didn't.
The house was on fire. And not just little bitty 'where's the fire extinguisher' on fire. Like flames shooting out of the exploded out windows on fire. Like Caleb could see flames eating their way through the roof on fire. Like he was sitting there, on top of his car by the curb, and he was pretty fucking warm for it being the middle of goddamn winter. He was pretty relaxed, really, considering, feet down on the open passenger's side door since he'd opened the window, forearms resting on top his knees. Maybe he'd start freaking out any minute now, but really he didn't see it.
and the house gets trashed again

The basement, while still smelling kind of strongly of laundry detergent and fabric softener, was occupied by the living for the night. Being the ghost hadn't gone away, the decision had been made to spend the night in the basement to attempt to figure out either how to redirect the spirit, contact it with success, or at the very least clean up the damages before they got too bad. No one had pinpointed a time per se that things occurred yet, and so people were attempting to sleep before the annoyances began.
TIME UPDATE
Submitted by praelitismods on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 09:43.
Weather: The skies cloud over a little over night and the day is generally cloudy, but with no sign of any more snowfall currently
Events: The hauntings continue, again between the hours of 2-4am, only tonight things are rather more serious. In any house that is being haunted, the electrics go haywire - lights flickering on and off, circuits overloading. Fire and electrical damage is a real possibility and the city's fire crews are overworked all night. Also, the ghosts themselves seem more intend on destruction than every before, and whilst they are not actually attacking people, they are definitely going for property damage.
The aftermath the next day is clear throughout town - there are local calls for mass exorcism around the town, and people contacting priests and other ghost experts go through the roof. Interestingly, though, the ghostly damage seems limited to Marquette - whilst ghosts are a world-wide phenomenon, it only appears to be in Marquette that they have suddenly become a common problem.
If you have any events or anything going on which you think warrants a mention in the time update, please let us know!
