Jocelyn still wasn't used to a normal sleep schedule, but she'd told Doc to meet her early in the morning so she was here. Tucked into a corner both in the back she was doing her best to prep herself for this meeting. Her palms were pressed flat on the table her coffee untouched in front of her. She really shouldn't be nervous about meeting the man she was sleeping with.

Kayos walked along the snowy streets, vaguely paying attention to her surroundings, but really it was only a passing aquaintance with 'attention'. It was about enough to make sure she wasn't randomly crashing into innocent bystanders. That never usually worked out well, and therefore she wanted to at least put a cursory effort into avoiding it.
Mostly, however, she was just listening to her music, walking along in a vaguely 'dancey' manner, and singing. She was trying a new track on getting herself out of sad-mode, which was to get out of her torn up building, get some fresh air, maybe try a random shop or something. She stopped to gaze into a shop's window, contemplating going in and buying something. Anything, really, and maybe making a gift out of it. "There's just no mercy in your eyes, There ain't no time to set things right, And I'm afraid I've lost the fight, I'm just a painful reminder....Another day you leave behind..."
So maybe her taste in music could be a little more upbeat in order to help out the sad-brain but whatever. She liked the song.

Attacks had been coming off and on all day, but none enough to get people hurt. It had almost been like the demons were testing the defences of those holed up in the chapel. When a real attack came, it came suddenly, as another window exploded inwards, showering the room with glass as a black shape hurtled through with apparently no thought to the holy ground it would be landing on.

TIME UPDATE

Weather: The weather in Marquette remains clear and sunny, though very cold. At the hospital, though, the storm continues to rage all throughout the day.
Events: For those brave enough, the holiday sale is on at the mall with horrifically slashed prices. It seems the entire town has flocked there though, it’s so busy!
Tonight at the Wooden Nickel, there’s an open mic night for anyone who wants to try their hand. Music, comedy – if you’re brave enough, there’ll be an audience there, or just come and be part of the audience instead!
At the hospital, for the teens, there’s no sign of getting out. They are still cut off from the outside world by the white-out storm, and the demons are still randomly attacking. The attacks come regularly, but after dawn rises once again, it seems that the demons are attempting to target small groups, or get small groups separated out from the rest. Strange noises are heard throughout the hospital, cries for help and screams – suggestions that there are other people out there.
