I'm going out of town in a day or two, haven't planned quite when. Do you want to meet up before I go? <3 Rose

There's nothing quite as humbling as seeing things from the other side of the fence, only to realize how very wrong you were. Besides feeling like a first class asshole, I'm actually scared for my life. Not because of the gift I received, but because if someone could find me to help me, someone could also find me to kill me.

A small box is left on Gabe's porch with his name on it. Inside, is a book on cursed werewolves. There's also a few typed up pages of notes, personalized ones Oz thought the kid might need to know.

She'd been wanting to do something for Aaron ever since hearing about Chrissy. She hadn't liked the girl really, but she knew that Aaron had been really close to her before their falling out. Regardless of whether he was on good terms with her at the time of her death, May knew that he was hurting. Really hurting. So, she made a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and headed on over to his house while they were still warm. She knocked lightly on the door and waited for an answer.

Aaron's mom answered the door, a fluffy blue bathrobe wrapped around her ankle long nightgown. "Hey, honey," she said, having briefly met May before and recognizing her as one of Aaron's new friends. "Come on in, Aaron's in his room, he'll be so happy to see you're here." She ushered the girl inside, sniffing a bit when she caught the scent of cookies and smiling wider at May when she realized what she'd brought. "Oh aren't you a darling." Turning and catching hold of the railing she leaned over the stairs and called on up, "Aaron, your friend's here!" Then she gestured at May to go on up. "Make yourself at home."

"No, I'm just saying that because I basically control everything involving wood right now, I can charge what I want for the damn stuff, and if that damn stuff happens to be wheat, then I want wheat." Jeri argued, pointing at the game board at what looked like the end of a game of Settlers of Catan. It also looked like she was losing, in spite of the fact that she (the red player) controlled pretty much all of the woodlands, plus the wood port on the edge of the map. "Just like Garth's controlling - for once - the wool. So what are we playing Saturday? Paranoia or D&D? I need to know which books to bring."

"Paranoia." Garth spoke up. "I'm storytelling." Jerilyn nodded, that settled, and went back to haggling with the wood.

Kavin reached the house that Jeri'd told him she'd be at and he took another quick look in the mirror to make sure he looked normal and not like he'd just spent a couple hours making out with a boy. Once he was positive he looked presentable, he got out of the car and headed up to the door, knocking lightly on the front door and hoped he wasn't waking up anyone's parents or pissing off someone. Especially the mom of some kid he didn't know. Yeah, that'd be fun in a not fun kind of way.

Gabe made himself wait an hour before calling Nate, sure he could literally bite his head off through the phone lines if he called any sooner. Then they'd have a digital werewolf to deal with. heh. A few seconds of amusement wasn't enough to completely cool his mood though, and as soon as he picked up the phone he could feel his blood begin to boil once more. It wasn't likely to be a long conversation, but it was one that needed to be had now.

Kavin didn't think that Gabe would be at hockey practice today. Not after everything that had happened. Both the bite and Chrissy would probably be more than a little heavy on his mind. So despite the snowy blizzard, after he'd dropped his bag off at his house and Jeri off at work, he headed on over to Gabe's. He needed to talk to him about the whole thing. Let him know that he was willing to help. He parked his car out front and knocked. His mother answered the door and lead him to Gabe's room. Once she'd left him at that door, he reached up and tapped lightly on it.

Kaysen wanted her fucking board back. But the stupid lake had eaten it. It was now the new bane of her existence. It was all...wet. And ate precious things you couldn't ever ever get back. Like skateboards. And people, she guessed, but whatever. She had decided to take it personally. It was because she was a fire elemental, or something. That was her story and she was sticking to it.

And alright, it was cold, and there was snow on the ground, but she could still probably use her deck for a good week or so more. It'd be a lot more fun doing that for halloween tomorrow than like...hoofing it or whatever. She still hadn't quite decided what she was doing. There was Charlie's thing and stuff...hm. But that would require her to be social and shit. And she still didn't even know where her head was at lately, with the Chrissy shit. She still knew she should be feeling more about that than she was, and it was a bit worrying. She just didn't know who to talk to about it. It wasn't like she had a million options, and she understood that it might say about her one blinding thing: she was a terrible person. So...who really wanted to bring that to friends or family? Oi.

The appetizer was as important as the meal, foreplay as crucial as sex... it was all about anticipation, in Rey's mind. He'd been in high spirits for days now, alternately coasting on good feelings from his night with Marguerite, eagerly curious about Mathias and Babylon, or just eager for this moment, this night. And the timing was probably perfect; if he couldn't hide this act amongst the werewolves' rampage, he'd do well to complete it in the aftermath, when the locals would be watching for inhuman beasts, not inhuman men.

Yesterday had been draining and Gabe was glad to get back to what he considered the norm. Classes had resumed and they were actually having history, rather than replacing it with a self defense class he could not participate in. He'd explained to the teacher that he'd been injured, presented a doctor's note, and got to sit it out, which was only annoying in that it actually looked like fun. On the other hand, he knew it would all do shit against a werewolf, since the school wasn't encouraging the students to carry guns. Today, it was just history, and as he came into class, he smiled at Claire. "How's it going?" he asked, taking the seat next to her, as usual.

It had been a horrible, painstaking long week. After Judiel had disappeared, she had gone back to the tent to wait. She stayed for two days, sitting outside and watching the mountain. Waiting for him to come wandering up to her. But he never did. She went searching for him on the third and fourth days, but found nothing. She hadn't known what to do, or who to call. She went through a variety of emotions. Fear, panic, distress. It was a never ending cycle. She felt helpless and useless, not being able to help him when he needed her to. And now she didn't know where he was - other than he was somewhere in the Dreaming - and more painfully, she didn't know if he was even alive anymore. When Monday hit, Olivia finally packed their things into the rental car and after getting lost many times and having to stop for directions, she drove - slowly and carefully - back to the airport.

Babylon was decked out in an inferno theme. All of the walls had flamelike lights projected onto them, giving the feeling that the entire building was lit up from the walls inwards. Everything was done in black and red, including the drinks that evening. Torches were lit along the walls as well, and mini-ones were on the tables in both the club and the bar.
