Woke up. Not sure what happened-energy shortage?-don't know how long I've been in that state. Don't remember motel owner at all. I suspect he tried to kick me out without success. I guess it's this time of the year again, when I gotta find another hotel. Will try and get out of here without him seeing me. Maybe I have done something and I don't remember it, but it doesn't change the fact it gathers too much attention. I believe it's been a week at least.
Related? There was an awful lot of dead cats outside. No blood. Managed to dig 'em holes and hide 'em. Most were picked up when I was not looking. I mean, lotsa cats, stinking in ways that should not be legal. What the hell?

Winter coming? Is it the cause of my sleep? Where did I get the idea it's winter? I don't remember a thing

Must get alcohol to keep body warm. Still have no ID but most cashiers here have known me for so long they must think I'm married already.
Also, gotta get new job. They must have fired me.
