A Case of the Mondays

Who: Chrissy and Alexis
Where: The girl's bathroom
When: Before 1st hour

Everyone was talking about the dance. What people wore to the dance, who they went with, who they left with... It was all people could talk about and school hadn't even started yet. Alexis was listening in on her own fair share of gossip as she stoop before the bathroom mirror. Her father wasn't fond of her wearing make-up, so she'd taken to putting most of it on once she got to school, rather than deal with him in leaving the house. For someone that hadn't been to the dance, Alexis was getting quite an earful.

Chrissy herself was the object of a great majority of the gossip. Oh my god's and snickers and points were filling her brain by the time she made it to the bathroom. "Fucking stupid ass people." she muttered under her breath as she shifted her bag around to her front and rummaged through it for her makeup. Setting the bag in the sink she snagged her eyeliner and retouched it, paying no mind to the girl next to her.

"Bad weekend?" Alexis asked, "Or just Monday?" She knew Chrissy by name, but not by face. The girl's reputation went a long way, but not far enough for Alexis to know who she was talking to. Unlike some, she hadn't made a point of getting to know who everyone was. Next year it could be a new group of people, new school, new friends, so why bother learning the names of people she might never cross paths with?

Chrissy didn't look at the girl, instead went about applying her make up once more. "Like you haven't heard." she told her. "My ass is the talk of the hallway and will be for the next month I expect, until of course something else comes along to suck the minions in." She rolled her eyes and heaved a sigh.

"The minions?" Alexis asked, pulling back from putting on her mascara with a little laugh. "If you don't want 'em talking about your ass, give 'em something else to talk about." Alexis stared at Chrissy for a moment, then shook her head, putting two and two together. "From what I've heard, you should be capable of it. Don't you know who did it?"

"No, not yet I don't. But I'll find out." She had every intention of finding out. She'd bide her time until she could smoke out the perpetrator. And when she did, they'd regret the day they ever messed with Chrissy Chapman. "And they can talk about whatever they want to talk about. Not like it bothers me a single little bit. It just gets old listening to people talk about the same damn thing over and over again. Fucking ridiculous. If my ass is so entertaining, maybe I should streak through the hallways and really give them some fun."

"Somehow I don't think that would help," Alexis said, leaning back against the sink. "You must have a list. All the girls that are waiting for you to fall, just so they can take your place. Those you've made miserable who have balls enough to strike back. Boys you've embarrassed, humiliated, or turned down. Or have I just named the entire school?" she smirked. Alexis thought she'd be scared of Chrissy, but she was just a girl. A blond sophomore who didn't even know her name.

Chrissy rolled her eyes. "Whatever." she said, running her lipgloss across the pout of her lips. "Honestly, I would love to chat with you and everything, but honestly, I've got way more important things to do. Why don't you just get on your merry way and butt out of my business?" Stupid whore. Everyone just had to have an opinion today.

Alexis rolled her eyes. Why was everyone scared of this bitch? Just because she thought she ruled the school, didn't mean they had to let her. "Have a good day, Chrissy," she said with a little wave. "Watch what you stand up against. Wouldn't want the ass cut out of your jeans."

"Fuck off." she told the girl, her eyes fixed on the mirror. She didn't want to waste her energy on some stupid bitch who couldn't even come up with anything intriguing to say. "You know that's a real lame thing to say, honestly. I really don't care about the dress, or my ass being shown. I'm more pissed that the person that did it didn't have the balls to do it where I could see them. Which in all honesty makes them really a coward for the whole thing. What good did it do really? Gives me a bit of a boost to be honest. No one had any complaints about my ass." She shifted her bag to stuff her make up back into it before moving towards the bathroom door. Stopping and turning she tossed a grin at the girl and flicked her hair behind her back. "Have a lovely little day. And you might wanna watch those fries and stuff. Those jeans make your ass look freakin' huge. Byes!" And with that she turned around and headed out the door.

Alexis smirked in silence as Chrissy ripped into her, waiting until the bathroom door was shut to break out in a fit of giggles. Maybe if she was super self-conscious she'd be worried about her ass, but she wasn't, and certainly not from a girl that was flinging insults just to make herself feel better. If that was the kind of girl that Thom wanted, then he'd never even notice her. It was disappointing, but at least she hadn't wasted too much of her time. Chrissy would never know just what a help she'd been.
