Details over dinner.

Who: Jules & Sasha
When: Evening 8ish
Where: Jules' house

Jules was making herself busy playing Susie homemaker, cooking up some steaks and potatoes and busying herself cleaning up the mess she made while she waited for the steaks to finish. She'd taken Marlowe out for dinner the night before, but was looking for something more homemade tonight, even if that meant having to eat alone. She'd made enough for Sasha just in case he showed, but the guy hadn't been by in a couple days, not since before the dance. She was a little curious how that had gone. Apparently well if he hadn't returned to her house.

And speak of the wolf, there he did appear. Sasha unlocked the front door and slipped in, calling out curiously. "Jules, you here? It's your friendly neighborhood mechanic. I do house calls now!" He didn't really, but it seemed funny. He pulled off his jacket and hung it up as he closed and re-locked the door, headed in toward the kitchen and those wonderful smells coming from it.

"I'm here handsome." she said with a grin as she finished up filling one of the plates with food. "Wasn't sure you'd be around tonight." she said with a little tinkling of a laugh. She made his plate and carried both to the table before walking over to him. "Made enough for you just in case. Knew you couldn't stick to that frozen food junk with me around." she gave him a little wink. "So... sit. Eat. Can I grab ya a soda?"

"Sure." He settled down at the table like someone who belonged there, smiling as he looked over the plate. "Now this looks really good, I'm starved." He was, a bit more than usual even. Work really knew how to take it out of him, some days. "Thanks a bunch. So how was your weekend?"

She smiled. "Well, I talked to a guy about removing my bedroom mirror, he came and did that today and I took Marlowe out for dinner last night. Other than that, not much." She reached into the fridge and grabbed him a soda. Returning to the table she leaned over his shoulder and set the can down. "But darling, I'm far more interested in your date. Come on, tell me all about it."

"What? Don't I get to dance around it, make you nervous first? This isn't how it's supposed to go." He smiled, not really serious, and tucked into his steak, cutting it up into little slices as he spoke.

"Course not. I made you dinner, you supply the entertainment in the form of awesomely intriguing high school stuffs." she chuckled and ruffled his hair a bit before moving to sit across from him at her own plate.

"Hmph. No fun at all." He chuckled though, not really putting much into the protest as he started eating, leaving his hair slightly mussed from her efforts. "Well, we had dinner the day before, with his brother. He seems cool, we all got along good. The date was good too, we had a nice black-and-white thing going on...I had an all-black suit, he was doing all-white, so we looked pretty sharp."

"Hot stuff." she said with a grin. "Sexy boys doing sexy boy things together. I'm assuming it went well. You didn't crash here that night, which means, that you either crashed at his place, or him at yours." she assumed. "So which was it, love?" she asked, taking a bite of her steak.

"Yeesh, you're jumping ahead, you didn't even get to hear what happened at the dance." He rolled his eyes, trying to distract her at least for the moment from the topic of what went on after the formalities had been concluded.

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. How was the dance?" she questioned. "What'd you there? Dance perhaps?" she said with a little wink.

"Well, I kissed him right in front of the punch bowl. And everyone. His english teacher or something was giving us the evil eye, so I uh..." He shrugged, grinning a bit. It was a pretty cool memory, he was damned proud of that kiss.

Her eyes widened and she almost choked on her bite of food. Once she'd swallowed and taken a drink she stared at him. "You what?!" she blurted. "In front of everyone?!" She blinked a couple of times and shook her head, a smile on her face. "Wow. You've got some balls, lovely."

That made Sasha give a bit of a smirk. "Yes, yes I do. You've seen 'em, as I recall." He took a sip of his cola, chuckling. "But he's a damn good kisser. I looked right at the old bat teacher after we did it too, made sure she knew I knew. I hope I didn't get Sammy in trouble, but he said he liked it."

She chuckled. "Yes, yes I have." she said shaking her head and taking a sip of her drink. "You just glared at her or something? Didn't think you had it in you." she teased. "You're a lot braver than I thought. Battling shadows and making out with boys in front of their teachers. You should really share your talents of bravery."

Sasha mimed flexing his muscles, which were not insignificant thanks to his physically demanding job, then went back to eating. "After that, we went and had dinner, I got us a reservation at that nice steakhouse, the Chicago Chop House franchise."

"Oooh. Big spender. Was Sammy impressed?" she asked, taking a sip of her drink and proceeding with her meal. She raised an eyebrow at him as she chewed. She was pretty sure he was getting serious about the boy, or at least liked him. A lot by the sounds of it.

"He seemed to be." Sasha nodded, chewing on some potato. "We uh, agreed to be an 'us', so I think he took the night rather well." He smiled at the memory, especially the sense of waking up next to Sammy the following morning. It was good to have someone to wake up with again.

"Awe." she said with an a mused little tone. "So. Who stayed at who's house?" she questioned. "Details love, details."

He rolled his eyes as she veered back onto that topic. "Fine, fine...he stayed over at my place. Left a bit early to do some stuff on Sunday, but we had Saturday night together. And no, nothing happened." He stuck out his tongue at her request for details, quite childishly.

"Oh blah." she said, shaking her head. "No porn worthy moments. I take back my statement about bravery and balls." she said teasingly. "Well he slept at your house though? First date sleepover? That's a little... me like." she joked. "You've been hanging out with me far too long." she said, waving her fork at him.

"Hmph. Maybe next time I'll bring him here, you can get a look at the cuteness yourself. He's fucking adorable, Jules." Sasha couldn't help but laugh at the thought of his curly-haired, nosy little boyfriend. It was so fun to just think about him.

"Is he?" she asked. "Tell me about this man in your life." she said, taking another bite of her food before sitting her fork down and leaning on her hands, elbows firmly against the table. "What's he like? Other than adorable, and in high school? Speaking of high school, remind me to tell you about the hot high school kid I had in here today. But yeah, go on, tell me about Sammy."

"He likes collecting things, for one thing. Always picking up stuff and looking at it, it's kinda neat. He uh, can't talk, so that's made things interesting. We do sign language sometimes, but I'm still trying to get the hang of it so most of the time we just write back and forth in his notebook."

She raised her eyebrow at that. "He can't talk?" she questioned. "Like at all? Why?" Nosiness taking over as she eyed the man across the table from her. "You said he signs, does that mean he can't hear either, or just can't talk?"

Sasha shook his head at that. "Just the talking, he can hear ok, but it's...I dunno, I feel rude if I just talk and wait for him to write or sign. I like to do whatever he's doing, unless my hands are occupied, yanno? It keeps our talks at the same pace, instead of him doing all the work and writing every time I say line or something." He hadn't ever actually put it into words before, he realized, and the logic behind it surprised him a little.

She nodded and gave him a smile. "Well that's sweet then, being all even with your relationship." She finished off the last few bites of her steak and took a sip of her drink. "So when am I going to get to meet this Sammy character?" she asked. "Or do I not have that friendship status yet?" she chuckled lightly.

He shrugged as he polished off his side of the meal, leaning back to consider the thought. "I dunno. His family's kinda...conservative, I guess. I'm not sure what the deal is, but he gets reigned in a lot. I can see if he's free this weekend though, how's that? Or maybe we can all go to that circus thing, I like circuses."

"Sounds like a good idea." she said with a grin. "How bout I buy those tickets and you make sure the dishes get done?" she offered with a little wink. "I'd much rather spend money than do these dishes, besides, I cooked dinner, you can clean up after it."

"Alright, sure." Sasha wasn't one to shy off of hard work. He gathered up the plates and immediately began scrubbing as Jules went off to do her purchasing thing. It didn't occur to him til she was out of the room that she'd offered to buy the tickets without asking him for money. "Aw, crap..."
