Who: Nate and Kavin
When: Evening
Where: Kavin's house
Warning: NSFW

Nate slept like a log through the day, his body realizing more than he did how much sleep he really needed. He was dead to the world in a dreamless (and dreamwalkless) slumber and didn't wake up until it was after dark. He felt insanely groggy as he sat up, peering around the dim lit room and trying to figure out just where the hell he was. He'd never slept there before so it took him a few long moments to puzzle out whose room it was and what he was doing there. And then the question of where Kavin was entered his mind. He noticed the handwritten note then and turned on the lamp to read it. Kavin had gone to get Peyton and would be back later. Right. Nate stretched and frowned down at his clothes. It was pretty gross to sleep with clothes on and he really needed to brush his teeth. Badly. He was lamenting his lack of toothbrush when something... someone came gliding through the wall. Nate was pretty used to that, he'd seen that more often than he liked when he was younger but it still startled him. A ghost, staring at him with wide eyes and looking around in confusion. "You can..." It said but the rest of the sentence was swallowed by static, then quiet, even as its lips kept moving.

Nate stared, his heart still hammering in his chest. He'd never seen a ghost in Kavin's house before let alone... two? The alarm on Kavin's nighstand started moving, finally falling off his table and cracking as it hit the floor and whoever had pushed it was manifesting right there. An angry looking man, angry and confused. Nate was about to scurry away but the ghost beat him to it, pounding on the closet door before disappearing through it.

The other one followed and Nate sat dead still before grabbing his phone.

dude he punched out. u have a ghost problem. He hit send, then stared at the wall where the second ghost had disappeared.

Kavin was on his way back to his place when the text came through. He managed to flick the phone opened and read the little note without running his car off a road, course, that didn't keep him from running straight through a ghost in the middle of the street. Apparently ghosts go through you. And fuck they're cold. He shivered, dropping the phone into the passenger seat and going just a little bit over the speed limit to his house. Obviously Nate wasn't hurt. Freaked out though? Totally different story.

He pulled up in his driveway and climbed out of the car, snagging his phone and keys and pressing the little lock button. He was inside a moment later. Locking the door as he came through. "Nate?" he questioned as he cautiously headed towards his bedroom.

"In here," Nate called. He'd helped himself to some toothpaste and was now in the kitchen, smoking. "You got a good cop and a bad cop. Or ghosts in this case." He told him. "They've taken a liking to your bed room. Oh and your alarm clock is broken. Bad cop doesn't like things it turns out. Not a fan of your closet either."

"Dude, if you wanted to have some wild crazy romp with some random hooker, all you had to do was say so. Making up ghosts? Please." he teased, a little smile moving across his face. "Yeah, well it's not just my house it's fucking everywhere.

Nate grinned at that. "Your clothes are everywhere is what's going down," he sighed. "I just got the fuck out of there when he started tossing your underwear around." He took a deep drag of his cigarette and yeah, he was a little shook up. He was at least definitely not used to ghosts doing anything that affected the real world. "The other one just mopes about. I've never seen them here before so I don't know why they appeared now. Halloween, I guess? There's more then?"

"There's more." he told him with a nod, walking over closer to him and holding out a hand for the cigarette instead of just taking it. "Scared, Natey?" he questioned with a teasing little grin. "Do I need to hold you so you don't wet your pants."

"Fuck you," Nate muttered. "That stupid ghost is interacting with this world, that shit's not normal. Doesn't mean I'm freaking out, just not really all that interested in staying in the same room as him. Feel free to go in there and tell him to stop fucking up your closet though. I'll wait here." He didn't hand over the cigarette, out of spite.

"Oh you big baby." he said, rolling his eyes and taking the cigarette anyways. "I was just kidding. You're actually handling waking up to a couple ghosts pretty well. And I'm not about to take my ass in there and tell them not to do something." he told him. "They're dead, let em do what they want."

Nate shrugged idly. "Well I've stayed in haunted hotels so..." He trailed off and pondered it for a moment. "Does this happen here every Halloween? Don't you have some neat hunter tricks to get rid of them or something?"

"If you're not afraid, then why should I get rid of them. Are they hurting you going through my boxers? I mean if you want my shorts all to yourself, you're gonna have to step up and tell them that."

"Oh yeah, I'm only worried about your clothes, that's all," Nate said with a roll of his eyes, snagging the cigarette back from Kavin. "How many are there? You didn't answer my question, this a yearly event?"

"Hey, I was smoking that." he muttered, hopping up on the counter and shaking his head. "No, not that I know of. First I'm seeing this type of thing. Maybe it's the apocalypse."

"So, you're not used to seeing ghosts but now you're seeing them all over?" Nate asked, taking a drag before handing the cigarette back over to Kavin. "This town is nothing if not fucked up. No wonder Frank moved here."

Kavin licked his lips and took a drag himself, shrugging a little as he let the smoke flume from his lips, sucking it back up his nose. "Welcome to Marquette, Natey. Anything can happen. It's like Disneyland for all things fucked up."

At least not all things in Marquette were weird in a bad way, Nate thought as he remembered Leija's wings, though her life was a little fucked up, having to see all those deaths and all. "I'm beginning to see how you so weren't exaggerating on that front," he muttered, gaze darting to the doorway as something thumped lightly against Kavin's bedroom door down the hall.

"You sure you're okay?" he questioned, his own eyes moving in the direction Nate's had and then back to the boy. "You're like a nervous wreck or something. How long was it before they woke you up?" He didn't mention how hard it'd been not to just sit there and watch him sleep instead of going to get Peyton. But damn he was cute when he was asleep.

"I'm alright," Nate replied with a lazy drawl but he still fished a pack of cigarettes out from his pocket and lit a new one for himself. "Just seems like every day brings something new and fucked up. Happy Halloween, guess we should be wearing masks or whatever." He shrugged and put the cigarette between his lips to mimic Kavin's moves, hopping up on the counter to sit. "Woke up sometime after six, was pretty dead to the world all day."

"Who needs a mask when you look like you?" Kavin teased, biting his bottom lip through a grin. "I woulda woke you up to come with me but...," he shrugged. "I thought you could use the sleep." All joking was set aside for that statement. He was really glad that the guy had gotten some sleep.

"I really could," Nate replied with a small smile at that. "Thanks, man. Didn't dreamwalk or anything and your bed's damn comfy."

"I bet. You know, you've got like a freaking strong grip when you're sleeping. Do you realize how long it took me to extract myself from 'Nate's death grip'?"

"Liar," Nate laughed, ducking his head and grinning at Kavin, his first reaction at the thought of being clingy. But then he realized another thing and nudged Kavin teasingly. "You saying I'm stronger than you?"

Kavin laughed and shook his head. "No. I'm saying that I was half asleep and you were wound around me like a boa constrictor. And no, that's not a compliment to your... well, yeah." He flushed a little and shook his head again, lightly biting his lip and ducking his own head this time.

"You freak," Nate laughed. "You just had to go there, didn't you." He teased and looked up as one of the ghost, the more peaceful one, drifted past the kitchen. "You know that guy?" Nate asked Kavin, gesturing over there.

He raised his head and glanced over at the ghost. "No..." he said, raising a brow. "I don't think so. Must suck... being like... stuck. If I die before you, and I probably will, if I become a ghost, get me an exorcist or something."

"No dying allowed," Nate said dismissively. "This is so fucking surreal. I'd have thought your house had been burglarized if it wasn't for those guys going through the walls." Of course he didn't see them the way Kavin saw them, see through and all. He just saw people. Who happened to be dead.

Kavin raised a brow. "And why is there no dying allowed? You've made up a rule that I'm not allowed to die, now? Are you that fond of me?" He knew he probably wouldn't answer the question, evade it somehow, but part of him wanted an answer. He moved on though, eyebrow still arched. "And how could you think they were anything but ghosts? They're all smokey and junk."

"Not to me they're not," Nate replied, arching a brow. "You really see them as all smokey?" He nudged Kavin's leg none too gently. "And yeah, new rule. No dying allowed, at least not anytime soon."

"'Yeah' to new rule or 'yeah' you're fond of me?" he questioned. "And yeah, I can see straight through them. Like... fog or mist or something."

"Weird," Nate commented and stared as the ghost came back, giving them a puzzled look before hurrying off again. "You need to stop asking stupid questions. Yeah new rule and yeah I'm fond of you, though it's a dumb way of putting it."

"Fine, you think I'm sexy and you want my body." he said, his voice low as he leaned over a bit to murmur those words near Nate's ear. "Still a dumb way of putting it?" he questioned.

"Yeah," Nate replied cheekily. "It sounds like that lame song." Kavin wasn't the only one who could play the game of seduction and Nate leaned in closer and whispered, "Come on baby let me know."

"Guess it's a good thing I know the song..." he murmured, tilting his head a bit and lightly kissing the boys neck one before sliding his lips up to his ear again. "If you want my body, and you think I'm sexy, come on sugar, lemme know. If you really need me, just reach out and touch me. Come on honey, tell me so."

"It's such a lame song," Nate groaned and pulled back, looking at the door. "You want that ghost to see? He'll spill it all to Jeri and you'll have another bat-shit crazy ex on your hands." He grinned as he spoke though and then sneaked a small kiss on Kavin's lips.

"You know you like the song when I say the words." Kavin teased. "And I doubt that a ghost is out to ruin me by telling on me, but..." he shrugged. "Dude, have you talked to Dylan today? I bet he's freaking the fuck out."

"Fuck," Nate groaned, letting his head fall back against the cabinet. "I should probably call him. Have you talked to Jeri?" He hopped down from the counter and stubbed out his cigarette, oh so very much not in the mood to deal with Dylan.

"Not yet. I need to text her. She had work today." he muttered, pulling out his phone and texting out a message to Jeri asking if she was alright. "Guess we'll see how bad she's freaking. She's fine, I mean it's not like they'll hurt her, she's probably shaken up though."

"I just forget people aren't used to them," Nate sighed. "Except I usually don't see them often. Or a lot of them, actually. Fuck... I'm gonna call him." And then he remembered his stupid phone was in Kavin's room. With mister angry clothes-thrower. He sighed heavily and gave Kavin a grumpy look before heading off in there.

Kavin watched him leave and shook his head a little. "Don't like the grumpy one?" he chuckled a little. "Don't think he's going to hurt you."

"I'm pretty sure he tried to throw a damn hanger at my head," Nate told him from the hall but he didn't sound too worried.

Kavin scooted off of the counter and flicked his ashes away, stubbing out the cigarette and heading off after Nate. He leaned against the wall and glanced around the room. "Interesting. Looks like I couldn't decide what to wear." he said as he glanced around the room.

Nate chuckled, peering around and finally finding the ghost. The guy was half inside the closet, just one foot and an elbow showing at the side. "He's mean as hell," Nate sighed. "I don't think he likes what you wear."

"Maybe it's just his way of telling me I should be naked all the time." Kavin grinned. "Or he's from way back when normal clothes consisted of suits and ties and top hats."

The man's head appeared and he glared at them, mouthing at them to shut up by the looks of it. Then he disappeared again and Nate shook his head, puzzled. "Alrighty then."

Kavin rolled his eyes. "My house and he's the one with a pissy attitude. You'd think that I should be the one all pissed off. I mean... look at my bedroom." he said with a wave of his hand."

"Maybe the nice one will clean up for you," Nate chuckled and crawled up on the bed to find his phone. He flopped on there and texted Dylan a simple, "u ok? then glanced over his shoulder at Kavin while he waited for an answer. You have way too many clothes. Girl."

"Oh, I'm a girl, huh?" he said, shaking his head. "Right. I just have a mother that thinks buying clothes every Christmas is the way to go. And dude, she's crazy, if I don't wear the shit, she thinks I don't love her or something. At least she stopped buying me polo shirts and khakis."

"Oh god," Nate groaned and laughed softly. "He takes a while to answer," he said as he watched his phone then rolled onto his back and rested the phone on his stomach. "I'm leaving your sofa for your bed by the way."

"Cheater." Kavin muttered. Partly to Nate and partly directed at himself. "I'm gonna tell her you're sneaking around, but see, you can't my bed. It's 'my' bed for a reason." he chuckled, toeing off his shoes and climbing up into the bed.

"It obviously loves me," Nate protested. "I haven't slept like this in forever." He rolled onto his side and stared at his phone for a moment, then looked at Kavin again. "But okay then, I'll stay with the sofa. If you insist."

"Depends on whether or not you can deal with sharing." he smiled, brushing his hair away from his eyes and resting his head against the pillow. "Otherwise you're stuck with the sofa, dude."

"I'm all about sharing," Nate murmured and couldn't help but smirk at the double meaning there. After all, wasn't he sharing Kavin? He felt a pang of guilt, not for Jeri but for the fact that he didn't feel guilty toward her. Which was a conundrum.

Kavin knew all about the guilt. Though his was more because he didn't want to hurt Jeri. He liked her. But he liked Nate too. He knew if she found out and asked him to choose, he wouldn't be saying her name. And that part sucked. The whole thing sucked, but he just smiled. "Yeah, totally are, aren't you?"

"Mmhmm," Nate murmured. "Depends on who with but yeah, pretty much." There was a small thumping sound coming from the closet and Nate couldn't help but laugh. "You wanna go check out what's going on around town? We might have to go find our supernaturally insecure people anyway."

"We still gotta pick up your car too." he chuckled. "You abandoned it. It's probably depressed. Choosing my couch, my bed over your own stuff." Kavin teased.

"Has anyone ever told you that you kinda have a disturbing relationship with objects?" Nate asked, but he was laughing still, obviously not bothered. "How does your closet feel about this ghostly invasion?"

"I do not. It's everyone around me more in love with my things that me." he pointed out. "Jeri? She loves my tub. Seriously. Way more than she could ever like me. You guys both suck. And my closet... will have to deal and I'll have to clean up the mess afterward."

"Aww, I like you almost as much as I like your sofa," Nate teased him, rolling onto his back and sending Dylan another text. seen anything weird?

"Almost as much, huh?" he questioned, moving onto his side and resting his head against his elbow for a moment. The hand not against his head shifted up across Nate's upper chest and to his neck, tilting his head just slightly towards him again. "Well my couch can't do the things I can." he smirked.

If there was anything Nate knew it was that Kavin needed to stop making his stomach do that flop thing and he defnitely needed to stop making him blush. But he was still doing that with the simplest little things. "I think I'd be a little disturbed if it could," he chuckled.

And there was that little upwards twitch of one side of his mouth, making that little dimple show up just a bit. "Would be kinda disturbing." he agreed. "But I doubt you like the couch as much as me. No matter what you say."

"Yeah well, your ego don't need inflating much," Nate teased him, putting the phone away for now and rolling over to face Kavin again, ducking his head to kiss him.

Kavin smiled into the kiss. It was a little hard to keep that smile on his face when Nate's lips were pressed against his though. He didn't move his hand from the boy, but he did brush it back a little, fingertips dipping into his dark hair.

Nate deepened the kiss but pulled back at the sound of another crash. "Okay... this ghost is starting to piss me off," he muttered.

"I kinda know what you mean." he chuckled. "So, we either move outta this room, or outta the house with more ghosts. Your choice, Natey boy."

"Fucking hell," Nate groaned just as his phone went off. He checked the message and snorted. "Looks like he's just fine," he muttered, showing Kavin the oh so friendly message. no, ur not hom. "I asked him if he'd seen anything weird. See what I have to live with?"

"I think I like this kid." he chuckled. "What'd you do to get his panties all in a twist?"

"Don't even ask," Nate groaned. "You're supposed to take my side here, jerk. He hangs out with the creepy crowd."

"I was just kidding and I am on your side, obviously. Kid did call me your boyfriend in the middle of my living room during a party the first time I met him. Not the best first impression." he chuckled. "But seriously, what'd you do to piss him off?"

"There's a girl," Nate replied. "I blurted out she don't like him like that. And now he hates me. I should learn to keep my mouth shut."

"Aww, you hurt his feelings. You're so mean, god. I'd hate you too." Kavin teased. "That's like him being like 'dude, Kavin totally hates you'." Again with the teasing, but he couldn't resist. "You'd cry in your room for like a week."

"Fuck you," Nate laughed, kicking him lightly. "I'd just go to one of my many other awesome people for rebound se- stuff."

"You would." he said simply. "See, proves my point. Rebound sex huh? I see what you want me for. And here I thought you actually liked me."

"Yeah, because we have so much sex," Nate said and rolled his eyes. "Why am I indulging you by even answering you?" He laughed, reaching for his phone to text Dylan again but it was a feeble way to distract himself since he couldn't think of anything to write.

Kavin waited for a second, watching to see if Nate typed anything out so he wouldn't be interrupting but his fingers didn't move. "Forget what to say?" he teased, reaching out for the phone and shaking his head. "If your brother is pissed, do you really think he wants to hear from you?" he asked. "And just because we don't have sex, doesn't mean you don't want to." he pointed out.

Seemed like Nate was speechless all around and he just frowned, scrunching his lips in frustration that was mostly a joke. "Shut up," he mumbled then, watching Kavin take the phone away and not trying to grab it back. "You're the one who keeps talking about it. Not getting anything from Jeri?"

He bit his bottom lip and handed the phone back. He didn't answer, in fact he changed the subject and tried his best not to make a face at the question. "Dylan didn't see any ghosts at all?"

"Not telling me about it if he is," Nate replied and glanced at the closet. It had gone quiet in there so maybe that guy had fucked off, finally.

Well at least he hadn't pressed him for an answer. "Yeah." Kavin said, awkward silence following. He couldn't help but feel a little guilty now. He felt almost like it was Nate he was cheating on and not Jeri.

Nate cocked a brow at him and then a lazy smile followed. "What's eating you?" He asked, shifting closer and curling his arm under his head.

"Guilt." he muttered in a whisper, turning his head as he lay back against the pillow and looked up at the ceiling.

Nate bit his lip and looked away. "Sorry," he mumbled and checked his phone again. "We didn't really do nothing though, I mean... Not like we fucked or nothing. Don't worry about it."

"No, that's not it." he muttered though that really wasn't the entire truth. It was a bit of guilt towards Jeri but not as much as it was towards Nate. "I feel bad because I did stuff with Jeri afterward." he admitted. "Like I cheated on you instead of her... and fuck I don't know."

"Freak," Nate said with that lazy grin surfacing again. "I don't care what you do with her. She's your girlfriend and I'm... the friend, whatever. Not exactly the settling down kind of guy."

Kavin sighed and rolled his eyes and then rolled over to face the wall because facing Nate right now? He doubted he could do it. "Freak. Yeah."

"You getting all butthurt on me?" Nate asked softly, resting the phone against his chest.

Again he sighed. "I'm not anything hurt." he muttered. "Just spectacular actually." Right. Spectacular. Amazing. So perfect there weren't even words to describe it. "Just let it go. Stupid shit anyway, right? Not like it means anything."

"You're weirding me out, dude," Nate sighed and sat up, locking the keypad on the phone before slipping it into one of the pockets on his cargo pants. "I'm going out there for a smoke. You coming?"

"No." he said, rolling over onto his back and looking up at the ceiling for a half second then back at Nate. "Forget I said anything. Seriously."

Nate did not want to deal with that kind of thing from the one person he could make out with without feeling pressured. So he let it go with a nod indicating that yeah, he'd forget about it. "Come on, stop being emo."

"I'm not." he told him, shaking his head. "You just don't fucking get it." Kavin got up though and headed out of his bedroom, snagging his shoes from the foot of the bed on the way out. He plopped himself down on the couch and stuffed his feet into the shoes, not bothering with the laces and sifted through his pockets for his cigarettes. "Stupid." he muttered to himself. "Completely fucking stupid. You should really learn to keep your mouth fucking shut."

Nate strolled out after him, stopping by the kitchen to grab his pack of cigarettes, lighting up in there before strolling into the living room. He didn't join Kavin on the sofa, staying by the hallway and leaning against the wall. "What don't I fucking get?" He asked against his better judgment.

Kavin let out a breath and with it the smoke he'd just inhaled. Rubbing his hand against his forehead he shrugged. "When I'm with her? I wanna be with you. And when I'm with you, I feel guilty because I should be with her. I feel guilty all the time and I don't know what I'm supposed to say or do or anything and that's just gonna freak you out because it shouldn't matter, right? I shouldn't care. I'm not supposed to care. It's not supposed to matter. You're not supposed to matter. That's what you want. You want it to be no strings and not mean anything. It doesn't mean anything." He swallowed and got up from the couch, leaning over the coffee table to flick his ashes away. "You're right. It doesn't mean anything. Just kissing. Just some guy. Like you said, you can always find someone else, right?"

He's not going down that route, he fucking isn't, Nate thought with a sinking feeling and took a deep drag of his cigarette, automatically coming up with escape plans from the situation. "You're my best friend, you jerk. You going to get all weird on me?" He asked and honestly feared that this was it, Kavin was already all weird on him.

He knew better than go any further with his thoughts, forcing them back, bottling them up and corking them. "No. Course not." he said, shaking his head and forcing a smile that actually seemed pretty convincing. He didn't want to risk losing Nate completely because he'd hit that point of it meaning a little more than it maybe should. "Just out of it today. Forget it. Thinking too much. Trying to make my brain explode or something."

Nate wasn't all that convinced, jaw clenched and a subtle frown on his face but he didn't want things to get weird, didn't want Kavin to be flipping out so he took the excuse, for now. "You possessed or something?" He teased, slowly pushing from the wall.

"Maybe. Ghosts remember? Or Gabe's right and I'm bipolar. Take your pick. And... don't get weird around me alright? I'm sorry just... it's been a fucked up week alright and I don't know... just a fucked up week."

"Can say that again," Nate agreed and sat down on the sofa next to him, ashing off his cigarette. "I don't want to fuck your shit up with Jeri, man."

"You're not." he told him, shaking his head. "She doesn't know. She's not going to know. I just... look, bottom line. I like you. I like her. I'd like to keep you both around like you have been if that's possible. But after my little outburst of complete and utter filterless rambling I'm kinda thinking that you're ready to haul ass. Or maybe I'm just being a girl and being completely fucking stupid."

"You're totally being a girl," Nate told him but smiled faintly at him for it. "Your filterless rambling didn't make much sense anyway, so don't worry about it."

"Well, when have I ever fucking made sense?" he chuckled, taking another long drag from the cigarette and shaking his head. "You know you like it anyways. Otherwise you wouldn't hang out with me and you know it. So I might be a girl, but you totally dig me."

"I totally dig you," Nate agreed easily. "Except when you start hyperventilating and talking shit. That's just not cool." He reached over and ruffled Kavin's hair non-too gently.

"Dick." Kavin muttered, shaking his head but giving Nate a smile anyways. "Better be glad I like you." He smiled again and reached over to catch Nate's chin with his fingers and pull him towards him enough to press a kiss against his lips. "Better be real glad."

"Or what?" Nate asked with a hint of challenge in his voice. "If I'm only so-so glad, what are you going to do?" Banter or not, he was relieved to see Kavin wasn't moping about things anymore, man could he ever not handle that.

He smirked a little and leaned in again as if to kiss him, stopping barely a breath away from his lips. To the point where he could feel Nate's lips almost like they were against his own. "Well," he whispered, eyes flicking up to catch Nate's as his fingers moved across the boys cheek and up into his hair, tugging it just slightly. "If you're not glad, why should I bother kissing you anymore?"

Nate quirked a small smile, finding it hard not to close the small gap between their lips. "Face it, you're addicted," he murmured, trying to sound flippant but the way Kavin's hand felt in in his hair and how close they were - it was hard not to be affected.

Kavin's own lips twitched upwards into a little smile, but it filtered out into a smirk as he tilted his head, practically calling for Nate to kiss him. His breath was warm against the boys mouth and he bit his lower lip, eyes never leaving the boy's. "Almost as addicted as you are, sexy." he whispered.

Nate realized he was staring down at Kavin's lips and he let out a small laugh at Kavin's assessment. "More than I am," he corrected him, sucking in air through his teeth and steeling himself to not give in.

Again there was that little smile, a tiny little laugh and Kavin let his tongue slowly run across his own lips, barely missing Nate's in the process. The hand in his hair shifted downwards, catching the boy around the collar, wadding the material in his fingers. "No where near as addicted." he smiled. "Take it from an addict, I know the signs. You want a hit so bad you can practically feel it."

Weird how that teasing could affect him like that, Nate thought, making a small growling sound in the back of his throat and closing his eyes. It was mostly Kavin's hand on his collar, the warmth radiating from the skin and the tightening feeling against his neck that had his breathing quickening and he had to wonder if there was some submissive side to him he didn't know about or hadn't wanted to aknowledge. It wasn't quite plausible the way he felt the need to stand his ground and make Kavin grovel for it but there was some tickling there he wasn't sure what to make of. "You're right," he murmured. "So how bad off are you, Kav?"

"Same." he said, biting his bottom lip, eyes searching Nate's. "I think we're pretty even on this one and if you growl again like that... fuck." Kavin had to admit that little rumbling noise in the back of Nate's throat had him feeling all sorts of hot beneath the collar.

"Please don't tell me you have some weird furry fetish," Nate teased him, laughing again despite his growing arousal. He tilted his head, holding back and biting his lip, glancing at Kavin's eyes. It was becoming a battle of will or something and he knew it was dumb but... it was fun!

"No furry fetish." he smirked, letting out a little laugh of his own. "Just think that's fuckin' sexy." he whispered. Kavin would be damned if he lost the battle first and shit, it was fun so why stop now? His free hand shifted upwards to latch in Nate's hair, tugging it back enough to be felt but not enough to hurt. The move pulled Nate's head back and exposed his neck and throat more to Kavin and he didn't waste any time making use of it. He didn't touch though, just hovered, breath and teeth and lips and tongue so close to the boys skin but still so far.

The sound he made almost embarrassed him, half-moan, half-whimper. He could almost feel Kavin there, his lips there less than an inch from his skin, breath warm against his neck - a promise of things to come. The earlier moments of awkward were fast forgotten, that was for sure.

He still refused to make the first move. Refused to press his lips against any part of Nate just yet. Course that didn't mean he couldn't keep teasing. The warm breath halted for a moment and he pressed his lips together in a bit of a pout and blew against the boys neck, slowly sliding upwards as he used Nate's hair as leverage to control the movement of his head. He blew along his jawline and to his ear in a slow, teasing little path.

Nate's breath hitched and he had to remind himself that Kavin would never let him live it down if he was the one 'more addicted', more desperate, more whatever Kavin would think of to tease him with. He closed his eyes again, straining not to push closer.

"You might as well give up." Kavin whispered, cheek pressing against Nate's as he let his head relax again. Lips so close to his ear. "I'm a hunter, I know how to wait. We could be here... all night." His fingers clenched tighter around the boys collar as he pulled back, letting his eyes catch Nate's. "If you want my body and you think I'm sexy, come on sugar, lemme know." he whispered, lips moving in close to Nate's once more.

"You really know how to kill the moment," Nate murmured though the moment really wasn't dead. "As a hunter, shouldn't you be out getting what you want instead of waiting for it to come to you?" He grinned, feeling a little dazed.

"Oh, I get it in the end." Kavin said with a little grin. "But see, toying with my prey is half the fun. But," he said as he released Nate's shirt and pulled back from the boy. "I suppose I'll just let this one get away for now. Obvious disinterest does put a bore in the game." he teased.

"Asshole," Nate shot back in a discontent drawl. He noticed his cigarette had pretty much burnt out for the most part and so he leaned over to stub it out and get rid of it before pushing Kavin back against the backrest. "You're such a fucking tease."

He smirked, handing over his own cigarette so no holes would get burnt in the couch and no ashes would end up everywhere. "Complaining?" he questioned.

"Nah," Nate murmured, getting rid of that cigarette before leaning in and getting what he wanted. He gripped Kavin's hair tightly in his fist and kissed him demandingly. Addict needing a fix? Yeah sure, whatever. Asshole.

Teasing could wait. That? That was fucking sexy as hell and the groan that found it's way out against Nate's mouth testified to that. His hands found their way around the boy's body as he shifted his position enough to be a little more comfortably facing Nate. Fingers clasped at the hem of his shirt and slowly drug it upwards enough to dip beneath it, skin on skin and that's what he wanted. He was warm beneath those fingers and another noise found it's way into the boy's mouth. He wanted more. Needed more.

Nate thought about what he did next and decided it was probably a bad idea and sending all sorts of wrong messages but he still went ahead and did it. Shifting slightly he ended up straddling Kavin's lap, both hands in the boy's hair as he kissed him hard and hoped Kavin wouldn't start reading something into that he didn't mean to send out.

Kavin wasn't sure his brain could read into any messages that did or didn't get sent out with that. The blood that usually worked that part of his mind had fled the scene and headed south for the winter. He groaned out against the kiss and realizing with that little shift just how hard he really was. Nate was pressing against him and kissing him hard and fuck he felt nice where he was sitting. His fingertips ran further up his back, memorizing the feel of his skin. Guilt didn't even get the chance to register because thinking just didn't seem to be an option.

Nate dragged his fingers through Kavin's hair, gripping on it where it was long enough and grinning into the kiss. He still halfwanted to tease him but stones and glass houses didn't mingle well. They were both addicted, it was pretty obvious by now. "The trap closes, now what?" He whispered against the boy's lips.

His brain definitely had stopped working at that point and he pulled away a bit to look up at Nate confusedly. "What?" he whispered, brow arching just a bit.

"Predator, prey..." Nate reminded him. "Or have the tables turned?" He nipped lightly on Kavin's lip, grinning.

"Oh." he murmured with a little grin of his own. "I think... the tables might have turned..." he whispered. "You're on top of me after all."

"I am," Nate chuckled, kissing him again. "So I'm in charge." He ducked his head and bit lightly into Kavin's neck, tugging on the skin with his teeth. "Predator hunts predator."

"Mhm..." he murmured, a hiss escaping him when Nate's teeth sunk into his flesh. "Fuck..." he moaned out at the bite. His hands slid back down again, coming to rest against the boy's waist, thumbs just barely beneath the fabric of his jeans.

Nate's moved his hands from Kavin's head, stroking his arms before reaching down and pulling Kavin's T-shirt up. "Take it off," he whispered, sucking lightly on Kavin's earlobe.

He bit his bottom lip as those lips pressed against his earlobe and after a few seconds he did as he was told and pulled his shirt up and over his head, tossing it and not paying much attention to where it landed. His fingers found Nate's shirt and pulled it upwards too. "Your turn..."

Nate arched up to where he could see the doorway and then pulled his T-shirt off. "Your front door locked?" He asked, the last thing he needed was someone like Jeri - hell, anyone - coming through those doors.

"It's my house, think I leave the doors unlocked, like... ever?" he questioned, but he did take a glance over at the door. "It's locked." he assured Nate. "We could... move... if you want... there is another bedroom..."

"It's cool," Nate murmured, kissing him again. "Shouldn't you be out patrolling or something, seeing as it's Halloween?" He whispered but didn't seem all that concerned with it as he ran his hands over Kavin's flanks, nuzzling his neck.

"I haven't... ah... heard tell of the ghosts... ghosts hurting anyone..." he murmured. "Tryin' to get me to leave?" he whispered, his breath slowly quickening in response to Nate's attentions.

"No, just seems like a lot of shit goes down on Halloween," Nate replied quietly. "We should be wearing masks or something," he added and mentally started counting down to when Kavin was going to make a sexual innuendo out of that one.

"Masks?" he questioned with a little smirk. "So you wanna do this all incognito?" he teased, unable to help it. His fingers trailed across the boys skin and he looked up at his face again, reading him for signs of where he was supposed to go next.

"I was expecting a joke about kink but that'll do," Nate chuckled, smoothing his palm over Kavin's chest.

"Well now that you mention it, you do seem kinda kinky. The collar grabbing has been givin' me wonderful results. Hair pulling. Maybe I need to invest in some whips and chains." he said with a little smirk.

"Hard core," Nate snickered. "So there's a kinky bondage dude in there, huh? More reasons you wanted to be in on building a cage?"

Kavin chuckled. "Who needs a cage, I don't see you bein' forced to be where you're at now." he smiled. "Free will is kinda fun to play around with. Then again... so's being in control." He smirked a little at that statement shifting enough to move Nate against the couch and settling himself between the boys legs as he found his throat with his teeth, lightly sucking and biting.

Nate was not unaffected by that sudden change in position, especially not with Kavin's teeth against his neck. He moaned quietly before he could stop himself, grabbing onto Kavin - holding tightly onto his waist. "You like being in control, huh?" He murmured. "Didn't see you complaining when you weren't."

That little moan had Kavin's jeans feeling more than a little constricting. "I'm weird..." he murmured against the boy's neck. "I have different moods. Give me five minutes and you can be on top again." he whispered, words coming out with warm breath against the boys skin. Experimentally he moved his hips just a bit, pressing them tighter to Nate. It was his turn to let out a moan and he tried to hold it back, but it had fled his lips before he had the chance.

"Only five minutes?" Nate asked, his chuckle half a moan. He pushed up against Kavin, stroking bare skin until his fingers found denim. "You think you can last a little longer than that? Or am I just that damn hot?" He tilted his head enough to bite Kavin's ear, fingers busy between them, getting his jeans undone.

"Fuck..." he whispered at that bite. His brain concentrating now on the fingers between them working at that button and that zipper. "I think... fuck... I think I can last a little longer than that..." he murmured. "But.. ah... Just for... clarification.." he said as he moved his head down to Nate's ear. "You're that fucking hot too."

"That's what I like to hear," Nate whispered with a content grin, pushing Kavin's jeans down and wrapping his fingers around him. "So maybe six minutes?" He teased, kissing Kavin's neck again.

Kavin tilted his head back on his shoulders and let out a shudder of a breath. "Fuck..." he groaned out. "Remind... remind me again how we end up in... fuck... the least spacious... fuck damn that's nice..." he whispered.

Nate stroked him slowly, using his free hand to unbutton his own jeans. "Sofa's plenty spacious," he murmured. "And we remembered to take our shirts off."

Well, there was that. At least the mess wouldn't be quite as difficult to clean up. "Mhm..." was the witty response that came from the boy. Far too much blood had fled his brain and was more focused on running other parts of him. His vocabulary wasn't exactly up to par.

Nate closed his eyes as he got his own jeans out of the way and, feeling a little adventurous, took himself in hand right next to Kavin. He wanted to see the look on Kavin's face, if he was pushing the limit and crossing some lines but he didn't dare.

Kavin very nearly had a heart attack in that five seconds it took for him to sense that his cock wasn't alone in that palm. "Holy shit." he whispered, biting his lower lip hard to keep back the groan that was in the back of his throat. It didn't keep it back, merely morphed it into some sort of primal growl low in his throat. Experimental things? Definitely his new favorite thing. At least this one in particular.

It was definitely a good sign that Kavin wasn't pushing him away or freaking out, definitely a good sign. He grinned faintly and relaxed into enjoying it.

Part of him was freaking out. Running through the 'my god, a guy's cock is touching my cock... a guy is touching my cock... I'm really fucking liking it. God I'm a faggot' lines in his head. But a larger part of him was enjoying it. Liking the feel of the boys fingers against him. The hardness against his own. "Fuck..." he muttered, hips arching upwards into Nate's palm.

Nate was just a tiny bit freaked out by himself. Just before he'd been ready to flee the scene because Kavin was getting weird on him and now he was taking things a step forward. But he didn't care much at that moment, too wrapped up in the feel of what they were doing.

Five minutes? Yeah, maybe. If that. However long it was, it seemed to fly by in just mere seconds. Pretty soon they were both breathing hard against each others mouths, trembling little jerks and shudders, and about the time Kavin fell over that edge, he collapsed against Nate. He all but pinned the kid to the sofa, a sticky mess of fluid between their chests and stomachs. But he didn't much care. Right now he was concentrating on the fact that Nate's fingers were still around him, their manly parts pinned between their bodies and his lips so fucking close to his. He could have held out kissing him again, but breathing be damned. Lips pressed hard against Nate's, fingers sliding upwards into the boys hair and giving it a gentle tug.

Nate kissed him hungrily, pressing his legs against Kavin's sides. "Fuck," he whispered when he finally broke the kiss, letting his head rest against the armrest on the couch. "You're such fucking bad influence."

Kavin didn't move and for a moment he didn't say anything, then he let his head shift enough to rest against Nate's shoulder. He could hear the boys heart thumping loudly beneath his skin. "Tellin' me you want me to stop?" he questioned with a lazy little grin. "I mean... if that's... whatcha want..."

"Fuck off," Nate drawled, idly drawing his fingers in little circles on Kavin's back and arms. "Not what I'm saying at all. Unless you want to, of course. Go back on the straight and narrow."

"I think I fell off that path a while back." he muttered, shaking his head. "Don't think I could find my way back if I tried. Guess my new way is just slightly crooked. Look at yourself like a road bump or something." he teased. His fingers pushed the boys hair away from his face and he gave him a little grin. "Sure that's not what you want?" he questioned. "To stop? Because I mean... I can if you want." Probably not, but I can try...

"Now why would I want that?" Nate asked with an easy going smile. "Beats jerking off alone." Not to mention the whole addiction thing Kavin had been sadly right about, painfully spot on. "We should probably be more.. I don't know. Careful or something though."

"Careful?" he questioned, pulling back enough to catch Nate's eyes, breathing finally getting back to something that resembled normalcy. "About almost getting caught or...?" he questioned, raising a brow just slightly.

"Well, yeah," Nate replied with a one-shouldered shrug. "I don't wanna fuck things up with you and Jeri and... Did you know we already have some cheerleader bitches calling you my boyfriend? No need to, you know... risk more."

He bit his lip and nodded a little. "Well fuckin' Chrissy ran around calling me a faggot. I'm fucking Jeri and she's got a temper, seriously. So I'd really like one of those girls to call me a fag in front of her. Actually, I'd probably pay to see that."

"Yeah, unless she found out about this," Nate pointed out. "What would you do if she came over? Right now. What would we do?"

"We'd have approximately a half minute to get up yank our jeans up, put our shirts on and sit down inconspicuously. If she remembered her key. If not, we'd have until I got to the door." he shrugged. Then he sighed. "I don't know, she'd probably freak out or something but... I don't know.."

"Yeah, and it's not like we'd reek of sex or look all flustered or anything," Nate said with a roll of his eyes. "Also? No tackling me at school. That? Was just dumb."

Kavin sighed. "It's not like I did it in a room full of people." he pointed out. "I was careful..." He bit his bottom lip, knowing that it had probably been a stupid idea, but with the day he'd been having, he hadn't been doing much thinking at all. "Sorry."

"I don't care," Nate replied, lazy grin back in place. "As long as your girlfriend doesn't try to kill me, I'm chill with whatever."

"Honestly, I doubt she'd wanna kill you." he told him. "I'm the cheating bastard remember? But that's besides the point. Careful. Gotcha. No Jeri finding out, check. I'd like to keep my dick if at all possible."

"Some girls go after the people their boyfriends cheat with instead of their boyfriends," Nate pointed out. "I wouldn't be so quick to say I'm safe." He brought his arms up around Kavin's waist, his sticky hand closed in a fist to keep from making a mess.

"She's known me since I was little. I break her heart, she kills me." he told him with a little frown. "But, if we don't get caught, we don't gotta worry about that yeah? So, let's not worry about it. We need... to be worrying about a shower because you are so covered in cum." he chuckled.

"Thanks for bringing that up," Nate murmured, nudging him gently. "Get me a towel then. You joining me?" He grinned faintly and sneaked a kiss on his lips.

Kavin flushed a little at the idea of being completely naked, and in the shower no less, with Nate. He couldn't even understand why, not with what they had just done. "I uh... um... yeah, I... just yeah. And you say one word about me blushing and I will beat your ass."

"You sure?" Nate asked, biting back a laugh. "I mean, about the shower. Without saying a word I don't know how to put it but I'm not sure you're really up for a shower. You didn't tell me to not mention the stutter."

"You're a dick." he muttered, rolling his eyes. He slowly moved himself off of the boy, reaching down and grabbing his shirt from the floor and looking up at Nate again. "Not like I've got anything you haven't seen before anyway, so get your ass in the shower and I'll grab some towels."

"Alright then," Nate murmured, pulling his boxers and jeans up before standing up and strolling off to the bathroom. He started the water up and shucked his clothes off, leaving the door open.

Once Nate was out of the room, Kavin took a moment to mentally prepare himself for naked and dripping wet Nate. Yeah. That'd be an image that would be burned into every cell that made up his entire body. He got to the bathroom a few minutes later and set the towels on the counter, locking the door and stripping the rest of his clothes off. A hand went up to the shower curtain and he slowly pulled it back to step inside. Yeah, again, never going to forget that mental image. "Um... hi." Fucking lame.

"Um hi?" Nate murmured, rubbing his eyes free of water and grinning at Kavin. "Ghost free shower, enjoy." He brushed his hair back with his hands, squinting at the mild spray of water that kept hitting his face. "You need more water in here."

Kavin watched silently as the water cascaded over the boy's body. He tried not to stare, but damn it was hard. No pun intended, but if he kept looking at him -staring at him - he knew he would be again. He swallowed and forced his eyes upwards. "More water?"

"Yeah, I don't feel like fighting you for the stream," Nate teased, eyes darting downward and then up to Kavin's face again, a slight blush finding its way to his face. "Least it's not cold in here."

Normally he would have commented on the red that moved across the boys cheeks, but he couldn't without getting a retort back about the crimson across his own. "Yeah..." he said, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth and just looking at Nate for a second. "Kinda... weird..." he muttered. "Not like... in a bad way I just... never... like... god." He was flailing practically and he shook his head. "Okay so you're like really hot naked, there said it, blush or freak or something or whatever but move a little so I can at least wash this sticky... stuff off of me."

Nate stepped aside, brushing his hand against Kavin's stomach as he moved. "So are you," He said just loud enough for Kavin to hear him over the water. He stepped behind him and rested his head against his shoulder, letting some of the water trickle down on his head from Kavin's.

He bit his lip through a grin as he washed his chest and stomach and then let the water move over his head, drenching his hair with the warm wetness. "I don't think I'll ever look at the shower the same way. Thanks a lot, Nate, god." he teased.

"Ruining your life, one minute at a time," Nate said and grinned. "Keep calling me god and I'll start getting some major complexes, by the way. You think you can deal with that?"

"Fucker." he said with a grin and a shake of his head. "You know, you're a real pain in the ass. Remind me why I hang out with you again?"

"Because I'm funny and hot?" Nate said with a quiet laugh. "And I'm just quoting you here. My huge complexes haven't really reached a peak or anything."

"Mhm." he said with a little grin, reaching out to slide his hand up Nate's chest and to his neck, pulling him beneath the water just a bit and pressing his lips to his for a soft, short little kiss. "Bullshit they haven't reached their peak. You're practically exuding 'I'm fucking sexy' vibes."

"That's just your mind playing tricks on you because you're so fucking dazzled," Nate protested self consciously.

Kavin rolled his eyes, and smiled a little. "Doesn't matter either way." he told him. "What matters is you are 'fucking sexy' whether you realize it or not. And now... you've got the whole dripping wet thing going for you too. Really didn't expect that to be hot, I mean it's just water but fuck..."
