Kisses, Cars, and Biohazard Zombies

Who: Alexis and Kyle
Where: Ice rink, then Kyle's house
When: Night

The energy from the game never seemed to leave Alexis, who was still full of energy after the game was over. How she'd made it this far through high school without attending that sort of event, she didn't know, but she was more excited than ever that her life had turned the way it had. She'd had a great time dancing for the crowd, relieved when she'd remembered all the steps, and now she had another week before their next performance. As the crowds started out of the rink, she hung around the locker room exit, waiting for Kyle in her dance uniform. She'd not thought to bring a change of clothes, and though she had the jacket to help keep her warm, that did nothing for her legs. On the bright side, her dad had let her take the car. She didn't need to be walking home this late, especially dressed as she was.

Kyle came out of the locker room, freshly showered and changed, his bags in hand. He sought out Alexis and grinned when he spotted her. He tried not to let his eyes stare too blatantly at her body, but... wow. He was disappointed he didn't get to see her shaking her ass between periods. "Hey," he greeted with a wide grin. He was in a better mood now that they had won. And Gabe hadn't seem terribly pissed off with him afterward, so that was always a bonus. "You're going to be cold walking in that." Not that he minded at all. He had a hundred different suggestions on how he could keep her warm.

"Hey," Alexis said, grinning as he looked her over. At least she could rest assured that he liked what he saw. "My dad loaned me the car," she said, holding up the keys. "Not that I'm in a hurry to get home. Where do you wanna go?" she asked, figuring he might have an idea or two.

Cars. Kyle shifted uncomfortably and readjusted his gym bag in his hand. "I've got my bike..." he started lamely. "You think it'll fit in the trunk?" He kind of hoped it wouldn't, although it was too cold to walk around town for her in that outfit, he was dreading getting into anyone's car, least of all hers. Not because he thought she couldn't drive, but she was one of the last people he wanted to witness his phobia.

Her lips twisted to the side as she considered that, not completely picking up on his discomfort. "I don't think so. I mean, we can try, or..." Alexis wanted to hang out with him for a while and was hoping they could figure something out. Walking home wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't so dang cold outside. "If we're not going far, you wanna bike there and meet me? I can throw your bag in the trunk."

"Yeah, that'll work. You want to just come over to my place? It's not too far," he explained, walking with her to the front doors. It was much too cold for anything outside and there was plenty to do at his place. "If you'd rather not, then I'm all open for suggestions."

"We can do that," she said with a little smile. "Can I follow you in my car? You'll be warm enough, right?" As they stepped outside, she pulled her coat tighter around her, goosebumps spreading all over her body at the chill.

"Sure, but I think maybe you'll be driving really slow if you follow me on my bike," he said with a chuckle. Plus he took a lot of cuts through small streets and sometimes yards to get there faster. "I can just give you my address, then you can just go ahead and drive there and wait for me. And I'll be fine. I usually ride my bike in worse than this, so it doesn't bug me too much."

"Okay," she laughed, stepping up to her car and opening the trunk for him to drop his bag in. "I'll just wait out front until you get there then." It would feel a little weird going up to his house without him there, especially in her dance uniform. Next time she'd bring something to change into, just in case. And maybe she'd take up begging for a car again. It would be far easier to manage her dad's schedule against her own if they both had a mode of transportation.

"That's fine. No, wait... actually..." He dropped his bags into her trunk and then dug into his jacket to pull out his keys. "Here. Just go inside, it'll be warmer and you won't have to sit outside in the drive with your car running. My parents aren't going to be home." Kyle grinned. "I won't be too far behind you, I promise."

"Oh," she said, hoping the blush that rose to her cheeks might be covered by the naturally rosiness of the cold weather. "Okay, then. I'll see you soon," she smiled and climbed in her car. His parents might not be home, but that didn't change anything. It just made her a little more aware that... that his parents might not be home. Alexis chastised herself when her heart sped up a little. It was a silly thing to think about. Starting the car, she headed towards his house, hoping he wouldn't be too cold on his bike. She should have let him know that she'd gotten the car ahead of time, but it just hadn't occurred to her. When she arrived at his house, she parked out front, then hesitated before using the keys. It felt weird to be entering someone else's home alone, a home that she'd never even be in before. Setting her bag down, she waited, thankful for the warmth.

It took Kyle a bit longer to get home, but he cycled quickly through town, taking his familiar short cuts. It was ass cold, but he was used to it and it was a better alternative than being in a car. When he finally got there, he punched in the code for their garage and walked his bike in to hang it up on the wall of the garage before he headed into the house, the garage closing behind him. "Alexis?" The garage door led into the kitchen and he rubbed his hands together before grabbing some waters from the fridge. "I'm in here!"

"Where is 'in here'?" she called back with a smile, following the sound of his voice. She'd heard the garage, which only made her nervous-- what if his parents got home and found her just hanging out in their entry way? How would she have explained that? In her own house, he might have gotten shot, so she was even more relieved to find it was Kyle. "There you are," she grinned, stepping into the kitchen. "You must be freezing!"

He handed her one of the bottles of water with a smile. "Nah, I'm okay." His face was pink and his toes a bit frozen, but he'd survive. "You want a tour?" His house was big and impressive enough - in his mind - that he tended to offer it to girls who came over. It always ended up showing them his bedroom, so that was also a definite plus.

"Sure," she smiled, looking around the kitchen as she took a sip of water, then turning her focus back to him. "It's just you and your parents, right?" She was pretty sure that was the case, but the house seemed huge for just three people. It was probably because she was used to it being just her and her dad, and they moved so often that they didn't need a lot of space, since they never settled. "They're out tonight?" she asked.

"Yeah. To both," Kyle said before taking a long gulp of water. "Dad's the on call surgeon tonight, and mom's been working on this case for like, a year or whatever, so she's at the office still. Otherwise they probably would have been at the game." He reached out to take her free hand and lead her from the kitchen. "This is the kitchen. It doesn't get used often, cooking wise, but..." He took her into the dining room which had framed paintings, several curio cabinets full of china and crystal, and a large mahogany table that was far too big for a family of three. "Really, this is all the boring stuff. Which is why I usually start in the basement where all the good stuff is." Which was exactly where he began to lead her.

"Your mom doesn't cook?" she asked, always curious about a mother's role in a family. Kyle had both his parents, something she couldn't even remember for herself, but they seemed to be absent anyways. And he had a huge house with all the appropriate little furnishings, but it still seemed empty when it was just the two of them. It seemed less perfect than she would have imagined, but that was probably better for the time being. She didn't want to spend her evening being jealous of what he had that she didn't. "So what's in the basement?" she asked, following him in that direction. "Some crazy entertainment center? Or is that where you keep your torture chamber?"

"No, she cooks," Kyle said, leading her down the carpeted stairs to the basement. "She's just not home a lot. She brings home take out and stuff. We usually have a couple nights a week we're all home that she makes a big meal and everything. Then I have leftovers for the next few nights." He opened the door to the finished basement and flipped the switch. It was a large basement, carpeted and furnished with a desk, computer and bookshelves. There was also a television and shelves of movies. His favorite part was the ping pong and pool tables and the Pac Man arcade game his dad bought him for Christmas when he was fifteen. A poker table was off in the corner next to his dad's bar. "It's where my friends and I hang out when it's a bunch of us. Never get bored down here." He thumbed behind him toward the laundry room. "The torture chamber is in there, but I'm not sure you could handle it."

"I'm familiar with leftovers," Alexis said with a little smile. Some nights she cooked, some nights her father did, but most often they were eating whatever was left over from the night before. That was almost always the case when her father was out on a hunt. Her eyes widened as they stepped into the basement, the mental label of 'rich kid' easily being applied to Kyle. She could see why his friends would like to hang out down there. They had anything they could ever need. "I'm surprised your friends don't practically live over here," she said. "This is awesome. We have got to play pool sometime. I'm sure you'll kick my ass, but I've gotta take advantage of the fact that you have a table in your basement." Her eyes turned towards the laundry room and she smirked. "I might surprise you. You never know."

"Yeah, winter is the worst since there's less to do outside, they kind of all come here. But yeah, anytime you're up for a game of pool or whatever, feel free. It gets depressing when I've got to play by myself some nights." He winked at her and tugged her back to the stairs. "You'll get a tour of the torture chamber next time, promise. I don't want to scare you away too quickly. When my friends aren't here, I usually spend most of my time in my bedroom. What about you? What do you do when you're home alone?"

Despite the fact that he had two normal parents with two normal jobs, his life sounded similar, where a good part of it was spent alone. Alexis could relate, and she found it easy to imagine him down there playing by himself. "Dance around in my underwear," she grinned, then laughed. "Actually, I do dance around a lot, turn the music up and do whatever. Clean, homework, cook. If the music's on, then the house doesn't feel so empty. Sometimes I'm in my bedroom. It just depends," she said, following him back up the stairs. "What do you do?"

"Me? I sit around and wish I were at your house, watching you dance in your underwear," Kyle said with a laugh. That was definitely an image he'd take to bed with him. "But seriously, I don't do a lot. Video games, fuck around on the internet, online poker and stuff." Smoke weed, watch porn... Those were things you didn't exactly tell a girl you were sort of dating. "Not very exciting, right? Though a lot of the time I know I'll be home alone, I go visit my uncle. It's nice to have company, even if you're not doign much."

"You'll have to come over sometime. Better than sitting home alone, right? We could hang out," Alexis said. "Course, since I'm not alone, there'll be no underwear dancing, so don't get your hopes up," she teased. "Over here might be better. You've got all kinds of things to keep me entertained. What kind of video games do you play?" she asked, looking around as he led her down the hall.

"You can come over anytime you want," Kyle said, taking another quick drink of water. He was glad he had been able to shower before bringing her home. "I'm usually up for company." Especially hot, female company. "I play, er, violent video games. God of War, Resident Evil, Grand Theft Auto. I sort of moved past the Mario Bros. phase in middle school." He began to lead her up the stairs to the second floor. "You play video games?"

"Sometimes," she answered, uncapping her water and taking a sip. It made her suddenly realize how thirsty she was and she took another before answering. "I've played Grand Theft, though I'm not very good at the game part. I just like to run into things and hit people. I usually stick to games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. I might play Resident Evil if I didn't have to play it alone. It's not the kind of game I wanna sit in the dark and play in an empty house."

"Everyone says that." Kyle laughed and led her down the hall to his room. He pushed open the door to his bedroom and stepped back to let her inside. He wouldn't shut the door behind her in case it made her uncomfortable. His room had practically everything he needed to never actually have to leave it. To say he was spoiled was an understatement, really. "It doesn't scare me much anymore. I think I've played it so often alone that I'm used to it. Final Fantasy is cool, though admittedly I never played Kingdom Hearts. It's cool that you play though. Chicks who play video games always earn a bonus in my book."

"How does it not scare you?" she asked, looking around his room. "Not scared of biohazard zombies, I take it?" Alexis asked, impressed and just a little bit jealous with the contents of his room. She'd never stayed in one place long enough to acquire all that much stuff. This year would be different, though. She was making it different, moving or not. "Too bad you're out of the Mario Bros. phase," she smirked, turning to face him. "Cause I could kick your ass at Mario Kart." She wasn't exactly sure where to go, now that she realized she'd seen the house from top to bottom. Where was she supposed to sit? What were they going to do? Maybe he'd give her a clue.

"Biohazard zombies are fictional," he pointed out. "Stuff like that doesn't scare me because it's not possible. That's probably why horror movies don't scare me, unless it's some crazy psycho serial killer, since that could happen, but zombies and stuff? Nah, not so much. You want to sit?" He motioned to the leather desk chair. He doubted she would want to sit on his bed. "Maybe I'll buy Mario Kart and you can show me your moves." Chuckling, he went to sit on the edge of his bed. "Until then, are you up for a game? Or we can watch a movie. Or I can take you back downstairs and spank your ass at pool." He figured actual spanking of her ass was probably not an option.

"Biohazard zombies are currently fictional, to my knowledge, but that doesn't mean it's not possible," she said, considering the chair before taking a seat next to him on the edge of his bed. "Horror movies are poor representations of what's really out there to the point that they're almost comical, but that doesn't stop the adrinaline rush you get from watching them, or playing those games." Aaaaaand, this was when she really needed to shut her mouth, rather than start spouting off about the supernatural. Alexis laughed, somewhat embarrassed at her ramble, then tried to brush it aside. "We could watch a movie. Save the spanking for next time," she smirked.

Cocking an eyebrow, he studied her while taking another long drink of water. Currently fictional? Did that mean she believed zombies could in fact one day start roaming around and eating brains? If she told him she believed in vampires and UFO's, he was going to have a hard time looking at her and not thinking Weird. Licking his lips, he nodded. "I get the adrenaline thing, but it's not really from fear based in reality. I don't believe in anything I can't see with my own two eyes. I mean, anything like that." He got up from the bed and wandered over to the cabinet beneath his television before shooting her a quick smirk. "Are you in the mood to watch anything specific? I've got some of those horror movies, you know. We can snuggle up on the bed so you can cling to me when you get scared."

"I'm good with a horror movie," she grinned, "And I may snuggle, but don't count on me being scared." Alexis toed off her shoes, then pulled her feet up onto his bed. "Everyone has a different perspective of reality, based on their own experiences. I've seen things with my own two eyes that you haven't. And while zombies aren't on the list, you probably wouldn't believe half of what is," she shrugged. "It's not up to me to make you choose your reality, but you've got to respect that mine might be different."

He was rifling through his movie collection when he glanced over his shoulder at her, his expression curious. "So... you're saying that you've seen weird things, and that you believe in... what exactly? Aliens? Non-Zombie like creatures?" He wasn't sure how someone chose their own reality. Reality wasn't something you could choose, was it? Did she had a completely different idea of what reality was? Was she maybe a tiny bit crazy? Kyle was definitely interested to hear her answer.

"No, I haven't seen aliens," she grinned. "Nor UFOs or creatures from space. I don't even know if I believe that's possible, based on the probability of another solar system creating life that can even get to our planet during our human existence. But I've seen other things. Not zombies, but..." Alexis eyed him carefully, noting his expression with a sigh. "You think I'm crazy," she said, wishing she'd kept her mouth shut. This was what happened when she talked too much. She ran boys off with her beliefs.

"I don't think you're crazy," Kyle replied simply. Maybe a little weird, but not crazy. Not yet anyway. He picked out a couple movies and turned to her. He wanted to ask what she had seen, but was a little scared to. He wasn't sure he wanted to hear the possible answers. "If you think bio-hazard zombies are a probability someday, what makes you think technologically advanced beings from outer space aren't? Honestly I think for every weird thing people see, there's an explanation behind it that's not so weird. People see what they want to see, regardless of truth."

"Technologically advanced beings from outer space are a possibility, but you have to take more into account than you might with biohazard zombies. One relies on the human brain and our advancement in medicine," she said, thinking that maybe a little magic would do it as well, but that wasn't a biohazard zombie, then, was it? "The other relies on so many other factors. Like there being another planet that has the ability to create life. And if it creates life, it being intelligent life. Think of all the different beings on our planet. A planet of frogs and tadpoles probably wouldn't get very far. Unless they were smart frogs, I guess. But the point is, you'd have to have life smart enough to build an advanced communication system. And this would all have to happen in the time that we're alive on our planet. And they could be galaxies away, which means it might take thousands of years for their message to get to us. It's a game of probability, rather than the ability to believe. I'll believe that aliens exist when I see one."

"Who's to say those beings haven't been around longer than we have? Why do other planets have to align with ours? There's a lot of space that we've never been to, and we'll probably never go to. You say it's a game of probability, but who's to say another planet's reality is the same as ours?" Kyle grinned. "Not that I believe in aliens, or anything else for that matter. I'll believe it when I see it too, which I never will, because stuff like that just isn't real. It belongs in movies and literature, but I think if stuff like that existed? I doubt it could remain so well hidden for so long." Chuckling, he held up two movies. "Dawn of the Dead or Alien?"

"You're right. Maybe it does exist already and we just haven't seen it yet. But that's the thing. We haven't seen it yet, so for now it's fiction," she grinned. What she could never really explain was how one man's fiction might be another man's reality. No one ever really thought the crazy things were real till they were a part of their life. "You'd be surprised what stays hidden just because people will it to stay that way. People don't like to talk about the crazy things they've seen because they don't want anyone else looking at them weird." And she was one of them, when she could manage to keep her mouth shut. It didn't take much for Alexis to figure out that Kyle was not a believer, but she couldn't stop herself from arguing in her defense. Hopefully they could get off this topic and stay away for a while. "Let's go with Alien," she laughed. "I don't know that I'm up for zombies tonight."

"I doubt my will keeps creepy shit away," Kyle said, turning to drop Dawn of the Dead back onto his shelf and pop open the Alien DVD. "I'm sure people do see weird things, but like I said, I think there's a logical explanation behind the weird and it's not as weird as they might think once they know the truth. It's all about perception. Truth of the matter is, I've never seen strange stuff, and I don't think I ever will because I honestly don't think it exists." He knelt down, slipped the DVD in his player and grabbed the remote. He came back to the bed to sit with her. "No zombies tonight. You want something to eat?"

For Alexis, the explanation was logical and very, very simple. Vampires existed. Werewolves existed. Fairies existed. But she'd learned along the way that arguing with a non-believer wasn't going to make them believe. In fact, they might be better off not knowing, even if she was a little bit shocked that he'd not seen any of the weird going on in Marquette. "Maybe," she said, trying to decide if she was hungry. "I don't really wanna get anything on my uniform, so nothing messy. What've you got? Are you hungry?"

"I can give you one of my t-shirts if you feel more comfortable that way," Kyle offered. "I can order us a pizza. Or make some sandwiches, or we can just make some popcorn. I guess I'm a little hungry. Okay, more than a little. Hockey tends to stoke my appetite and I would hate to be sitting here watching a movie with you and have my growling stomach scare you."

"I'm good with pizza, so long as I can borrow a shirt," she smiled. Tomato sauce down the front of her uniform would be a bad thing, and she could just see it happening. Though it would be just as bad on his shirt. Hopefully she could refrain from being messy. "No reason to leave you starving. Anything I can do?" she asked, hoping he wouldn't have to run off to the kitchen at this point. Of course, if he was going to order pizza, it'd be a while before it arrived.

Standing from the bed, Kyle moved to his closet and opened the door. He walked inside and searched for a couple minutes before pulling a Detroit Lions shirt from the hanger and returning to her. It was an old enough shirt that if she got it messy, he wouldn't care very much. "You don't have to do anything. I can just order the pizza up here. Frozen pizza is never as good." He grabbed his phone after handing her the shirt. "Anything you like on yours?"

"Thanks," she said, taking the shirt from him and stepping towards his bathroom to change. "Just no onions or anchovies. Anything else is fine." She didn't like anchovies, and no one liked to be kissed with onion breath... and Alexis was hoping she'd at least get a kiss. Closing the bathroom door, she pulled her uniform top off, switching it with his shirt. It was big, and soft, and smelled like him. "How do I look?" she asked, stepping back out of the bathroom. She thought she looked silly, but she was far more comfortable.

He ordered a pepperoni pizza with sausage, bypassing the urge to add peppers and everything else he usually piled on. He really didn't want bad breath or anything, since he fully planned on kissing her before she left. He was hanging up the phone just as Alexis stepped out of his bathroom. "Like a fashionista, or whatever those women are called." Oversized shirts on hot girls were a plus in his mind. Especially when the shirts belonged to him. Bonus if the girl was naked underneath. He set his phone down on his desk and walked over to her. He tugged playfully at her sleeve. "I'm not sure what's cuter, your uniform or this."

"I'm not sure I could pass for a fashionista, but I'll take the compliment," she smiled, playfully moving closer to him as he tugged on her sleeve. "I kinda like this. It's definitely more comfortable, and a little more casual." And even if she wasn't naked under her shirt, it almost felt like she was, it was roomy enough. "Should I make myself comfortable?" she asked, fingers playing in the hem of her shirt. "Start the movie?" She figured he'd ordered the pizza, and now there was his bed... and if he did kiss her, there was no real reason to stop any time soon. It made Alexis ten different kids of nervous, as she took a seat, waiting for him to join her.

Asking a question like 'should I make myself comfortable' was just asking for trouble. Kyle walked over to join her on the bed, pushing play with the remote and setting it to the side. He knew he would find it difficult to concentrate with her sitting on his bed in his t-shirt. That didn't mean he wouldn't try. Honestly, he knew he would probably start getting a bit restless halfway through the movie anyway. Since his accident, he found it hard to concentrate on one thing for a long period of time. Movies were no exception. Kyle reached out and took her hand to hold it in his, hoping she wouldn't mind. Alexis didn't seem like the type of her girl he could just throw back on his bed and make out with. Given she had never had a boyfriend before, Kyle figured he ought to just test the waters and see how she reacted to things.

Hand holding was nice, and seemed a bit right for the moment. Alexis had seen the movie before, which was a good thing considering her inability to concentrate on anything other than him at the moment. There was Kyle, sitting next to her, so close she could smell him, feel the heat from his body, and there was his room. She'd never even been in a guy's room before and part of her wanted to go through all his thing and see what he kept hidden away. As the movie started, she let herself lean on him slightly, hoping he wouldn't mind. Her fingers played slowly among his, a tiny constant movement while the rest of her was still.

Kyle really didn't mind having Alexis lean on him. Her hair smelled nice and he couldn't help but turn his face just enough that he could get a better whiff of it. Every nerve in his body was painfully aware of the way her fingers moved over his. His hormonal brain couldn't help but imagine her fingers playing over another part of his body and Kyle shifted on the bed, forcing the image from his mind. The last thing he needed was to get a boner with the girl sitting right next to him. Instead he brought her hand up to his lips, kissing her knuckles softly.

As he lifted her hand to his lips, Alexis looked away from the movie to see what he was up to, then smiled softly as he kissed her knuckles. It was such a romantic gesture, the sort that reminded her of renaissance times, where a man would kiss a woman's hand in greeting. The butterflies in her stomach seemed to move up into her chest, or maybe that was her heart beating faster than before. Rather than turn back to the movie, she got caught up in watching him, a blush rising slowly up her cheeks as she realized she was staring.

Kyle noticed her watching, and he gave her a small smile. He figured it was the right moment to lean in and kiss her, which was exactly what he did. It was a soft kiss, tentative almost, because he didn't want to scare her. It was just nice having some privacy and being able to do this without a bunch of their classmates around or the possibility of her dad peeking out the window. They were alone and he was more than willing to take advantage of that fact.

Oh God, oh God, oh God! Thought Alexis in those few little seconds before he actually kissed her. She was worried that he thought she was weird for watching him, but if he was kissing her, then she must not be doing anything wrong. When his lips touched hers, Alexis relaxed slightly, unconsciously shifting closer to him. The nerves of a first kiss weren't as strong this time, and she was able apply a little pressure back on her own.

Kyle brought his hand up to cup her jaw, his fingers brushing softly against her cheek. He liked that she took a bit of initiative to deepen the kiss a bit. She tasted really nice, and she smelled good. Kyle could have just laid there with her, breathing in her hair for the rest of the night, as cheesy as it was. He kissed her gently, though he couldn't help but nibble a tiny bit at her lower lip. It was hard to refrain himself when he was around a girl he wanted to kiss, and he'd wanted to kiss her again ever since the night of Kavin's party. It was definitely worth the wait.

Alexis no longer cared all that much about the movie running in the background. It was white noise to her, mind and body focused elsewhere. One hand rose to lightly rest on his chest, her fingers tightening slightly in his shirt as she opened her mouth to his. Was it bad that she wanted him closer? That he made her whole body tingle? She'd never felt anything quite like this, nor imagined it, but she'd have to admit she liked it, and silently hoped that the pizza took it's own sweet time getting there.

The fact that she parted her lips for him was a very good sign. The hand on his chest was even better. His hand slipped around the nape of her neck, pulling her closer to him. His tongue eased past her lips to kiss her deeper and more intimately. It was taking everything inside of him not to move her back against his pillows and roll on top of her, maybe slip those legs around his waist and touch her properly. But he could be a gentleman - sometimes - so he stayed where he was, content with kissing her.

The room was feeling awfully warm, or maybe it was just Alexis herself. Every second she seemed to get hotter, but she was in no hurry to stop and cool off. Her tongue met his, first tentatively, then with more confidence as she hummed softly against him mouth. New to this she might be, but she knew what felt good and let that guide her. Her fingers began to slowly stroke his chest and she lightly bit his lip, curiously encouraging him with a silent hope for more.

That really wasn't playing fair, but he couldn't accuse her of teasing him because he doubted she had ever done this before. Kyle grew more confident himself, his thumb brushing across her earlobe as his fingers massaged the nape of her neck. He drew her closer to him, enjoying the body heat between them. Yes, the room had definitely gotten warmer since he kissed her. His kisses grew deeper, and more eager. He found he couldn't really help himself. For being inexperienced, she was really good at it.

Her legs brushed against his and Alexis wondered if it was wildly inappropriate that she was wearing a little tiny skirt that barely covered her standing. Sitting as they were, it really needed to be adjusted, as the amount of skin she was exposing seemed a bit gratuitous. But her mind wasn't on her skirt as the heat settled low in her belly; her mind was on Kyle, and his fingers on her neck, brushing against her ear. Her hand moved up to Kyle's neck, fingers brushing across his collar bone, then down to along the collar of his shirt. If making out felt this good, why the hell had she gone so long without it?

Kyle's mind wasn't on her skirt, although if he looked down to see so much leg, what was under her skirt certainly would be. He was too focused on kissing her, tasting the sweet recesses of her mouth. His body felt overly warm, his jeans admittedly a bit too tight. This was definitely a really nice way to celebrate their first hockey win. He'd take this over getting burgers with the guys any day. He liked the way she touched him and wanted to encourage her to touch anywhere and everywhere she wanted. Needing to breathe, Kyle moved his lips from hers, trailing soft kisses over her cheek and down to her jaw. The movie was now all but forgotten.

Alexis took a deep breath as he abandoned her lips, her chin tilting back to give him access to her neck. Biting her lip, she ran her fingers up the back of his neck, then into his hair. "That's nice," she whispered, shifting slightly with the discomfort of arousal. At least she wasn't a guy, having to deal with visible evidence, though the desire to straddle him was stronger than she could have ever imagined. It was like her brain no longer had complete control, handing off a good portion to her body, which only wanted to be closer to him. "Is this our second date?" she asked randomly, finding herself breathless. "Or our third?" Technically, it wasn't a date at all, but it mattered in her mind, at least to some weird degree.

"Huh?" He heard her say something, though it felt muffled in his brain since his blood was pumping loudly in his ears. Or maybe it was his heart or something. He pulled back, kissing her lips again and moving his mouth to the other side of her face, leaving small kisses behind as he worked his way to her ear. Was she asking about dates? Second or third? He tried in vain to think about the times they had gone out. "Second? I think... why?" he asked before nibbling at her earlobe.

She laughed softly and shook her head. "Doesn't matter," she said, lips meeting his briefly as they passed by to the other side of her face. As he began to nibble at her ear, her arms slid around his neck, pulling him the rest of the way against her. She didn't give a damn if they were moving too fast at the moment, not entirely sure what was appropriate for a second date. She highly doubted it was supposed to go from kissing straight to this, but how was she supposed to resist when he was making her feel that good?

He was glad it didn't matter because right now he couldn't think much of anything. It wasn't unusual for Kyle if kissing turned into more. He knew that they weren't going to have sex or anything, but he would definitely take advantage of the fact that she was letting him do what he was doing now. His hand moved from the back of her neck and slipped down her side where his fingers pressed into her waist. His mouth returned to claim hers, the kiss a bit more heated this time as rationality vanished and hormones took over. She would stop him when she felt it was right, but until then, he was going to enjoy this.

She would stop him, eventually, but she'd yet to hit that point where it felt like too much. Even if she'd never had to figure out her boundaries before, she knew she'd know them when they were pushed. Until then, she was perfectly fine with going along with it, each little sensation new and exciting. As he deepened the kiss, her hips pressed against his, never expecting it to feel as good as it did. It would be easy to get in trouble this way, if she didn't keep her head about her, but she wasn't so far gone that she's lost all rational thought. Instead, she was curious, breathless, and hornier than she thought herself capable of. It was a bad combination, but she doubted he was going to complain.

Kyle was well aware of his own discomfort. He was pretty sure she could feel it too whenever she pushed her hips against his, but there was nothing he could do about it other than think about something gross, but he was feeling too good to do that at the moment. Kyle shifted a bit, letting his hand move down to her hip. It was then he remembered she was wearing a short skirt and his fingers itched to slip underneath the hem, but copping a feeling at this point would probably freak her out. If it had been any other girl, he would have just gone for it, but he knew this was new to her and he'd found in the past that inexperienced girls were more skittish. He kept his hand where it was instead and massaged her hip lightly. Kissing was just fine with him, at least until he got horny enough where he would find it hard to stop. Arousal and frustration was not a good mix for him, so he attempted to stay aware of what they were doing.

Alexis inhaled sharply, torn between embarrassment and desire. She wasn't all that surprised to find him aroused, but she hadn't exactly expected to feel him so distinctly, with the both of them completely dressed. She slowed, not pulling away, but realizing then that she was probably leading him on and that it would be somewhat cruel to continue as they were. The hand on her hip was nice, and she really didn't want to move, finding that once the embarrassment faded it felt damn good to press against him like that. And then her kisses were building with intensity again, her hands rubbing over his chest back up to his neck, and she wondered if they'd ever really have to stop.

His breath seemed to hitch in his chest when she moved against him and he wondered if she was really inexperienced or just hustling him in a way, because... damn. He met her enthusiasm with his own and found himself pressing against her instinctively. Kyle was so caught up in kissing her, in letting his body do what it wanted at this point, that he didn't even really realize it when his hand lifted to place itself gently over her breast. He didn't squeeze, or grope at her. He simply possessed, which was really all he wanted to do right now.

Alexis groaned softly as she broke the kiss, not bothered by his hand, but realizing that it felt a little too good for the time being. She bit her lip, eyes closed as her forehead rested against his, breathing still heavy and body wanting so much more than she'd let herself have. "We should stop," she whispered. "Or... or I'm not gonna wanna," she laughed softly. It was a good excuse in her mind, considering it was their second date.

He didn't want to stop. He really, really didn't. He wanted to take off his clothes, and her clothes and get the condoms out of his drawer and... yeah. Pulling back, he took a few breaths to cool himself down. "It's okay," he told her with a small smile. "Sorry, I didn't mean to push or anything." She just tasted and felt really good.

"Don't apologize," she said, returning the smile. "You didn't do anything I didn't want you to do. It's just... I barely know you, and it seems like I should know you better before I start stripping." Her face turned red, but it was something she'd definitely considered, how good his hand would have felt if her bra and shirt hadn't been in the way.

He cocked an eyebrow at her, but nodded. "Guess that makes sense." He hadn't really expected her to start stripping, although it would have been awesome if she had. Licking his lips, he glanced toward the television at the movie playing. "You want to start this over? Or, ah, go downstairs and wait for the pizza?" Maybe it was best to get out of the bedroom and remove temptation. Not that he couldn't kiss her downstairs, but there was less of a chance of groping when he wasn't in his bedroom.

It didn't really matter if it made sense or not, since that was the way her mind worked and she needed some kind of rationalization besides 'it just feels good'. Kyle was hot, and there was a lot she thought would feel absolutely amazing if she allowed him to do it, but two dates and flirting in class shouldn't automatically earn him that right. "I just don't want you to think I'm easy or something," she said, a little embarrassed. Had it been wrong to pull back? Was it okay to go that far this early in a relationship? She took a deep breath, feeling unsure of herself, her body still wound up as she rose from his bed. "We could wait for pizza... if you want."

Kyle couldn't help but smile at her. "I don't think you're easy, Alexis. I didn't expect us to do anything. I was just enjoying kissing you." He rose with her from the bed and took her hand to kiss the knuckles again. "I promise, we're never going to do anything you don't want to do, okay? Sometimes it's hard to think, when you get all caught up in stuff like that, but I'm not totally brainless."

"Oh," Alexis smiled, leaning closer to him as he kissed her hand. "Can we go back to kissing then? Cause that was nice," she said, laughing softly. It was more than nice, and she understood the 'hard to think' part from her side as well. Maybe there was nothing wrong with it, that kissing like that was supposed to make her brain all fuzzy and her body cry for more than she should ask for. Decisions made when she was feeling like that probably weren't the best in the world, but she didn't regret anything yet. She just didn't know how far was too far for as little as they still knew each other.

"Ah, maybe we should hold off on kissing again for a few," Kyle said with a soft laugh. He was still trying to get his body under control and jumping right back into kissing her was going to make things harder - literally. "It's not that I don't want to kiss you," he explained, in case she took it the wrong way. "I've just got to... er, cool off I think."

"You think?" she asked, raising a brow with a little smirk. She was pretty damn sure he needed to cool off, based on what she'd felt while pushed against him. Alexis wasn't really teasing, though, since she'd been quite proud of herself for being able to do that to him in the first place. "Let's go wait for the pizza. Then we can talk while we eat before finishing the movie." And by finishing the movie, she was hoping for a few more kisses, if he'd appropriately 'cooled off' by then.

He squeezed her hand in a gesture of appreciation. Returning to kissing her on his bed would have been torture, knowing he couldn't do anything else. "Sounds good to me." He kissed her hand quickly and grabbed the remote to pause the movie before leading her from the room. "For the record, you're a really great kisser."

A compliment like that earned him a pleased smile as Alexis held herself back from kissing him again. "It's all the teacher's fault," she told him, taking his hand as they headed towards the stairs to wait for pizza. It was probably a good thing to get away from the bed. That could easily get them in trouble, and Alexis really wanted to get to know him better before they took things any further than they already had.

Kyle smiled. "This teacher will be glad to take responsibility for that." They would wait for pizza, eat and then maybe kiss a bit more. Not a bad way to end the day at all. He'd just keep his mind out of the gutter as long as possible and be patient with her. As long as she wasn't wearing that skirt, it should be easy enough.
