Thom lay on the couch in his basement, the text to Kaysen ready to send, like he sent it every night. Largely the same thing, at largely the same time. He had to wonder if tonight it'd be asking for trouble. Had to wonder whether Isaac had had a chance to speak to her yet or not. But, he couldn't not send it, so off it went.
