a quick recap
Who: Jules and Breezy
When: 10pmish
Where: Phoneland
Breezy waited until later in the night to call Jules as promised. Her parents didn't mind her having friends, but she still always felt that keeping all aspects of her social life to herself was the better plan. Falling back on her bed, she dialed the girl's number. She had a mission to complete!
Jules had long since finished dinner with Sasha and retreated to her bedroom to figure out what the hell to wear to work the next day when her phone went off. She grabbed it from the dresser and picked it up, not bothering to look at the caller ID beforehand, too wrapped up in her wardrobe as she balanced the cell between her ear and shoulder. "Hello?"
"Hello! Jules? It's Breezy." the young blonde said. "Your messenger girl? I have a face to recap, I believe." She wasn't sure whether or not Jules would remember - or even care, but hell. She stuck to her word.
"Ah, the girl from the mall right?" she said with a grin as she pulled a blouse from the closet. "I'm guessing that you actually found the elusive Gabe?" she chuckled. "What'd he have to say?"
"Elusive? Everyone in school knows Gabe! And he totally got in a fight at lunch today, don't know what the hell happened there." Breezy answered. Made her wish she would have taken him up on his invitation just to get the story! "He was pretty shocked, and a bit paranoid I think! But he said you have his number and that you should call him."
"I should call him, huh?" she chuckled at that. "I just might have to do that. If I can squeeze a second to myself. I'm sure my boss is going to have me running around all day tomorrow. He was shocked though?" Shocked and paranoid didn't really come as a surprise to the brunette, she could almost see the look on his face when she pulled that gun out still. But he'd told Breezy that she should call him. Strange. Perhaps she would. She did owe him an apology at least for going 'Jules: fully loaded' on him.
"I don't think he ever expected to hear your name in school." Breezy replied, chuckling lightly. "He might have been worried about his image, but I don't know how 'scoring with college-age girls' could ever hurt a high school boy. He wanted to know how he came up and conversation and stuff."
"Did you tell him that I told you what we did?" she questioned. "I'm pretty sure he doesn't want my name getting all over school." she said with a shrug. Not that he'd not had a fun time, and not that Jules wasn't at least decent looking, but because she was a gun-toting crazy girl, at least in his eyes.
"No, I didn't tell him I knew." Breezy answered. "He might have figured it out, but he didn't seem freaked out by it." By other stuff? Maybe. "I think if I had asked him in front of a bigger crowd the boy might have flailed a bit." You really did a number on him!
"Well how about if he asks you, I didn't tell you what we did... at least not that." she chuckled. "I have a feeling he doesn't want our escapades written across the school in vibrant colors. Not that you would, I mean. But I don't want him to think I'm running around telling everyone what we did, ya know."
Breezy grinned. "No problem." she agreed. "I'm gonna have lunch at his table tomorrow, and my lips are sealed. Unless you have any other messages. I'd totally call him though, he was a cutie."
"That he is." she said with a nod. "I just might give him a call. At least you got a friend out of it all." she said with a laugh. "He is quite the interesting one." When he's not freaking out about my gun...
"Hopefully! If nothing else I feel like I'm off to a good start. I'm dying to know about the fight he had, though. How awesomely CW. This place is a TV show. It's great." Breezy replied, laughing.
"I'm a bit curious myself." she chuckled. "Perhaps if I get the chance to call I'll try and figure it all out. If you find out before me, feel free to call again and give me the details. I didn't know he had the fighting jean in him." she grinned.
"I'll do that." Breezy agreed, cheerfully. "And feel free to call me anytime, even if I am totally high school. Friends are friends, man. I should probably let you go, but I wanted to let you know how things went."
She shook her head. "Oh please, I'm not far off high school, and my kinda sorta roommate is dating a high schooler. Besides I need all the friends I can get. Maybe we'll do lunch sometime. I should probably go myself, work in the morning and all. But I'll give you a call."
"Sounds great." Breezy agreed. "Have a good day tomorrow then! I'll talk to you soon. And let me know how things go with Gabe!"
"Will do, sweets!" she said with a smile. "Talk to you later, bye." And with that, she hung up the phone and set out to dig in her closet yet again.
