He felt guilty that morning. For a lot of things, but the one thing that weighed heaviest on his mind was how he'd acted with Gabe the day before. He should have been more understanding and right now, he just wanted to fix things before the tiny rift between himself and his friend had too much time to slowly morph into a canyon.

He grabbed his cell and texted out a calm, cool and apologetic text to Gabe.

Sorry bout yesterday. I shouldn't have rushed to jump the gun with you. I kinda wanna talk, if that's possible. I don't think I explained myself the way I should have and there's a lot of stuff I should have said before I mentioned anything about you at all. Think you can handle a non confrontational chat?
